Ques. Is MAH CET only for Maharashtra students?

Ans. Students from other states can also apply for Maharashtra CET 2026, but they need to apply under the open category only, and their eligibility criteria are slightly different from those of Maharashtra candidates.

Eligibility for OMS and All India Candidates

Candidates belonging to any other state outside of Maharashtra fall under the OMS or All India candidates. The eligibility criteria for OMS or all India candidates are as follows:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree of at least three years
  • The degree must be recognised by UGC or AIU
  • Candidates must secure at least 55% marks for all categories
  • All OMS candidates belonging to any category must apply only under the Open Category

Eligibility for Final-Year Appearing Candidates

Candidates who want to apply for the MAH BEd CET 2026 and appear in the last year of their graduation degree are eligible to apply for the exam. But the admission will be only confirmed only after the candidate submits the passing marksheet of the final year.
