MAH CET Cell Extends Registration Deadline for M.Ed/B.Ed/M.P.Ed 2026; Apply by February 24 @cetcell.mahacet.org

The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has announced a second extension for the online registration process for several Higher Education professional courses. This decision comes after the CET Cell received numerous requests from candidates seeking more time to complete their applications.

Candidates who have not yet submitted their forms for MAH CET 2026 M.P.Ed, M.Ed, and B.Ed (General & Special), including the B.Ed ELCT CET, now have until February 24, 2026, to complete their registration and confirm their application forms. The authority has clarified that no further extensions will be granted beyond this date.

MAH CET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• M.Ed: Requires a B.Ed, B.A.-B.Ed, or B.Sc.-B.Ed degree with a minimum percentage (usually 50% for General and 45% for Reserved categories).
• B.Ed: Requires a Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in relevant subjects with the required minimum marks.
• M.P.Ed: Requires a B.P.Ed degree or equivalent.
• Final Year Students: Candidates appearing for their final year examinations in 2026 are also eligible to apply.

MAH CET 2026 Selection Process

• Entrance Test: Candidates must appear for the respective Online Computer-Based Test (CBT).

• ELCT: Candidates wishing to join English Medium Colleges of Education must also qualify for the B.Ed ELCT.
