Academic Qualification

  • Degree Requirement: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a relevant field such as: Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Ocean Engineering, Ship Technology, Marine Engineering Or a closely related discipline.
  • Internship: A mandatory six-week technical, non-university internship focused on project work in the field.

English Language Requirement

  • TestDaF (Test of German as a Foreign Language): Minimum score of TDN 4 in all four subtests (Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking).
  • DSH (German Language University Entrance Exam): Minimum level of DSH-2.
  • Goethe-Zertifikat C1: Equivalent level of proficiency.
  • TOEFL iBT: 87 or higher
  • IELTS Academic: 6.5 or higher
  • FCE (First Certificate in English): Grade B or better
  • CAE (Cambridge Advanced English): Grade C or better
