- The bachelor’s program Automotive Engineering with teacher training is the first step towards acquiring the qualifications needed to teach this subject at vocational schools. The program teaches you the knowledge and skills of the fundamentals of automotive engineering, teaching methodology, and educational science.
- The technical component of the curriculum includes a basic education in math and engineering and addresses additional topic areas such as rail vehicle and automotive engineering, vehicle engines, and automotive electronics. During the teacher training components of the degree program, you will learn about the conditions for learning and education and how to shape learning processes during a lesson. In the compulsory elective component, you have the opportunity to pursue your personal interests in greater depth in a specialization of your choosing.
- A six-week professional development internship at a school is also a component of the curriculum. During this internship, you will gain initial teaching experience as well as explore pedagogical-didactic issues.
