- First, education and particularly research are great in Germany in my field and if you get admission to a public university there are no tuition fees.
Required Exams for Admission
Overall, it was a really nice experience with professors and getting to know about education abroad.
Course Curriculum
Yes, we had multiple lab courses and projects. For the master's project and thesis we had lab exposure.
Faculty
The professors and administration were very nice and supportive throughout the entire program. Prof. Stefan Diez and Prof. Braun were very motivated to research.
Campus Life
Unfortunately in Covid times, we did not get the opportunity to explore it fully. But they have lots of extracurricular activities and I get a chance to participate in one of them.
Placement
There is no such placement process happened in our university. Students has to apply according to their wish either in academia and industry.
Accommodation
It was really great the dorms in terms of price and other facilities. Every student gets single room with sharing kitchen and washrooms.
Exams
My IELTS score was 7 overall Writing 6.5, Reading 7, Listening 7, Speaking 7 Apart from this if you have GRE score it is good but not mandatory. Yes, I had to submit a motivation letter along with my application. The work experience and skills are mostly recognized in the CV. Yes, one round from the selection committee includes technical questions.
Fees
There were no tuition fees for my program. We just paid around 300 euros for the semester contribution.
