Ques. What is the question pattern of XAT?
Ans. XAT question paper pattern has 4 sections- Decision Making, General Knowledge, Quantitative and Data Interpretation, Verbal and Logical Ability. XAT question paper will have 104 questions that should be answered in 210 minutes. XAT exam has a negative marking scheme; 1 mark will be awarded for a correct answer and .25 marks will be deducted for incorrect response.
Ques. What is the duration of XAT exam?
Ans. XAT exam total duration is 210 minutes. XAT question paper will have 3 sections with sectional time. Students will get 175 minutes to complete the first section which consists of Decision Making, Verbal and Logical Ability and Quantitative Aptitude. To complete the second section, candidates will get 5 minutes to complete Mock Keyboard Testing. Whereas the third section will have 30 minutes to complete GK and Essay writing.
Ques. What is a good attempt in XAT?
Ans. As per the previous year analysis of XAT question paper, with moderate to difficult paper, an attempt of around 59-68 can be taken as a good attempt in XAT exam.
