Details to Verify on Your XAT 2026 Admit Card

The XAT 2026 Admit card is the most important document at the exam centre, and any error or mismatches can have serious implications on both entry and examination experience.

There are major details that you should verify on your admit card, like name, photograph, signature, DOB, XAT ID, exam centre, date/slot, or category/PwD status.

In the previous years, 1–3% of candidates faced problems due to these errors. To avoid issues, verify all details carefully, contact the helpdesk immediately for corrections, and carry supporting ID/documents to the exam centre.

Common Errors on XAT Admit Cards

Detail to Verify Common Errors/Mismatches Potential Impact How to Fix
Candidate's Name Spelling mistakes (e.g., "Ankit Kumar" as "Ankit Kumaar"), extra/missing initials, or transliteration errors from regional languages. ID proof rejection at entry; disqualification if severe. Contact helpdesk immediately for a corrected PDF; carry original ID as backup.
Photograph Blurry, incorrect, or mismatched photo (e.g., wrong face or outdated image). Verification delays; may need to paste a new photo on-site. Re-upload during registration window if possible; report for re-issue.
Signature Mismatch between the uploaded signature and the printed one; missing or faded. Disqualification if it doesn't match on-site signing. Ensure it matches your application; request reprint if needed.
Date of Birth (DoB) Incorrect date (e.g., 15/05/1995 as 15/06/1995) or format errors. Age/category verification failure. Urgent helpdesk contact; carry birth certificate as proof.
XAT ID/Roll Number Typo in registration number or a mismatch with the application. Login/download issues; entry denial. Verify against confirmation email; helpdesk can regenerate.
Exam Center Details Wrong address, city, or venue name (e.g., assigned to a distant center due to availability). Travel/logistical problems; late arrival. Report ASAP—centers are rarely changed, but confirm via map link on card.
Exam Date/Time/Slot Incorrect date (e.g., Jan 4 vs. Jan 5) or reporting time mismatch. Missing the exam entirely. Double-check official notifications; corrections are prioritized.
Category/PwD Status Wrong reservation category (e.g., GEN as OBC) or PwD marking error. Scorecard/reservation issues post-exam. Helpdesk rectification; carry category certificate.
Other (e.g., Gender) Minor mismatches like gender or contact details. Minor delays in verification. Usually fixable on-site with ID proof.
