The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has started the TS EDCET 2025 counselling on the website – edcetadm.tgche.ac.in. The counselling is conducted in two phases. TS EDCET 2025 final phase registration, fee payment, and certificate upload is open from August 29 to September 2, 2025.

  • The final phase web options entry will be open from September 5 to 6, 2025, and the options can be edited on September 7. TS EDCET 2025 Phase II seat allotment will be out on September 11, 2025.
  • TS EDCET Round 1 seat allotment result was released on August 9, 2025. Candidates who secure a seat must report to their allotted colleges for document verification, fee payment, and further admission procedures by August 14.
  • TS EDCET 2025 counselling fee is Rs 800 (Rs 500 for SC/ST candidates). This is a non-refundable processing fee paid through online payment (Credit Cards/Debit Cards/Internet Banking) in favour of ‘Secretary, TGCHE’, Masab Tank, Hyderabad.

All candidates except those belonging to SC and ST categories must obtain 25% in aggregate to qualify for the TS EDCET exam, which can be rounded off to 38 marks. There are no minimum qualifying marks required for SC and ST candidates.

The TS EdCET 2025 exam took place on June 1, 2025. It was conducted in two sessions: a morning session from 10:00 am to noon and an afternoon session from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

TS EDCET 2025 result was out on June 21, 2025. Candidates who qualify in the TS EdCET 2025 exam will be eligible to participate in the counselling process. During counselling, colleges will be allocated to the candidates based on their merit ranking and the preferences they have indicated.

TS EDCET 2025 Tie Breaking Rules

A merit list of the candidates will be published based on the total marks obtained by the candidate in TS EdCET 2025. The tie-breaking rules will be applied if two or more candidates secure the same marks in the TS EdCET 2025 Exam. The rules which are applied in this case are mentioned below.

  • A candidate who has scored high in mathematics will be placed first
  • For the candidate who has also got high marks in the subject physics also will be placed first
  • If both the above-mentioned rules failed then the total marks in aggregate will be considered
