TS EAMCET 2025 Exam Analysis

The expected difficulty analysis of the TS EAMCET 2025 will vary across multiple shifts. For Agriculture and Pharmacy,

As on 29 April 2025, shift 1 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) the exam consisted of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The difficulty level of the TS EAMCET exam was moderate. Biology was easy to moderate, the questions were primarily focused on the NCERT Syllabus. Physics was conceptually based, topics were from Mechanics, Optics, and Thermodynamics, while Chemistry will be moderate, with an emphasis on Organic and Inorganic Chemistry.

The expected difficulty level of the TS EAMCET 29 April 2025 Shift 2, will also be moderate.

Date Shift Subjects Expected Difficulty Level Expected Cutoffs (General Category)
29th April 2025 Shift 1 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (Engineering) Moderate to Difficult 10,000 – 18,000
Shift 2 (3:00 PM - 5:00 PM) Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (Engineering) Moderate 12,000 – 18,000
30th April 2025 Shift 1 (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM) Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Agriculture/Pharmacy) Moderate Agriculture: 25,000 – 45,000, Pharmacy: 30,000 – 50,000

TS EAMCET 2025 Cutoff Analysis

As per the TS EAMCET 2025 cutoff analysis, for the Engineering stream, CSE and ECE will have the highest cutoffs, ranging from 2,000 to 7,000 for CSE and 5,000 to 12,000 for ECE, since these are the most competitive branches with higher demand. Electrical Engineering (EE) will also have relatively high cutoffs (5,000 to 10,000), while Mechanical Engineering (ME) and Civil Engineering (CE) will have low cutoffs, ranging from 8,000 to 25,000.

In the Pharmacy and Agriculture stream, Pharmacy and Agriculture Engineering will have cutoffs ranging between 25,000 to 50,000, due to increasing demand. Food Technology and Horticulture will have cutoffs between 35,000 to 60,000. Reserved category students will have lower cutoffs in all branches.

Engineering Stream (General Category)

The cutoffs for streams like CSE and ECE are likely to continue being high since these streams have high demand. Mechanical and Civil will have a little lower cutoffs.

Branch Expected Cutoff Range (Rank)
Computer Science Engineering (CSE) 2,000 – 7,000 (General)
Electrical Engineering (EE) 5,000 – 10,000 (General)
Mechanical Engineering (ME) 8,000 – 15,000 (General)
Civil Engineering (CE) 15,000 – 25,000 (General)
Electronics and Communication (ECE) 5,000 – 12,000 (General)

Agriculture and Pharmacy Stream (General Category)

The cutoffs of Agriculture Engineering and Pharmacy courses will be higher for general category students, whereas the cutoffs for reserved category students will be lower.

Course Expected Cutoff Range (Rank)
Agriculture Engineering 25,000 – 45,000
Pharmacy 30,000 – 50,000
Food Technology 35,000 – 55,000
Horticulture 40,000 – 60,000

TS EAMCET 2025 Questions

  • 1.
A drop of water of radius 0.0015 mm is falling in air. The coefficient of viscosity of air is \( 1.8 \times 10^5 \, \text{kgm}^{-1} \, \text{s}^{-1} \). If the density of the air is neglected, then what will be the terminal velocity of the drop?

      • \( 2.72 \times 10^{-5} \, \text{m/s} \)
      • \( 1.35 \times 10^{-5} \, \text{m/s} \)
      • \( 2.72 \times 10^{-4} \, \text{m/s} \)
      • \( 3.45 \times 10^{-4} \, \text{m/s} \)

    • 2.
If the sum of two vectors is a unit vector, then the magnitude of their difference is:

        • \( \sqrt{2} \)
        • \( \sqrt{3} \)
        • \( \frac{1}{\sqrt{3}} \)
        • 1

      • 3.
A body is projected vertically upward with an initial velocity of 40 m/s. Calculate the maximum height reached by the body. (Take \( g = 9.8 \, \text{m/s}^2 \))

          • 80.4 m
          • 160.8 m
          • 100 m
          • 120 m

        • 4.
A ball is projected vertically up with speed \( V_0 \) from a certain height \( H \). When the ball reaches the ground, the speed is \( 3V_0 \). The time taken by the ball to reach the ground and height \( H \) respectively are:

            • \( \frac{V_0}{g} \), \( \frac{V_0^2}{2g} \)
            • \( \frac{V_0}{g} \), \( \frac{3V_0^2}{2g} \)
