SAT 2025 Test Centers: List of SAT Centers in India

The SAT 2025 exam, administered by the College Board, has 90+ test centers across 40+ cities in India. With the number of test-takers increasing every year, you are advised to register for the exam at least 2-3 months in advance to secure your desired test center on the preferred test date. You are recommended to apply for the SAT exam online, as it is the easiest and fastest way of doing so.

Each SAT center in India has a unique code, so you are advised to double-check the code before completing your registration.

SAT Centers in India 2025

In India, there are over 90+ test centers in over 40 cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. You can book your preferred test center and date during registration. The table below gives the complete list of the SAT centers in India, along with their center codes.

SAT Test Centers Guidelines

College Board has set certain guidelines for studnets to follow at the SAT test centers. These guidelines are given below.

• Arrive at the SAT test center at least 30 minutes before the exam for security check.
• Entering into the exam hall after the exam begins is not allowed.
• Bring the items required to enter the SAT test center – valid and current passport, and a passport-size photograph.
• There is a break of 10-15 min in between the sections.
• No recess will be given in the middle of the exam.

SAT Test Centers: Documents Required

The aspirants are allowed to bring certain limited items to the exam hall while reporting to the nearest SAT center locations. Here is a list of documents required for the SAT that the candidates must carry to the test centers:

• Printed SAT Hall Ticket
• Government ID along with a Photograph
• Pen, Pencil, and Eraser
• An authorized Calculator
• Drinking Water Bottles

All these items need to be carried in a transparent pouch. This will make the items perceptible to the invigilator at the SAT center.

SAT Test Centres: Prohibited Items

Here is the list of items that are prohibited at SAT exam centres:

• Mobile phones may be used to present the digital entrance ticket, but they must be saved after checking in before proceeding to the exam.
• Smartwatches, fitness trackers, and other wearable devices are not permitted.
• Personal computer devices are not permitted to be utilised as real or backup testing equipment.
• Different types of timers should be used.
• Cameras and other photography equipment are also not permitted in SAT exam centres.
• Highlighters and coloured pencils are also not permitted.
• No books or references of any type will be permitted within the SAT exam center's testing area.
• Compasses, rulers, protractors, and cutting tools are all forbidden within a SAT exam centre.
• Earplugs are also not permitted.
• Calculators with computer-style (QWERTY) keyboards are not permitted
• No weapons are permitted
