How to Check

How to Check OJEE Seat Allotment Result 2026

The OJEE 2026 seat allotment result is published on the official counselling portal at ojee.nic.in. Students must log in with their Roll Number and Password; the provisional allotment letter — showing the allotted institute, programme, branch, and category — can then be downloaded from the candidate dashboard. Keep a printout of the letter; it is mandatory for online reporting and physical document verification at the allotted institute. Follow the steps below.

  1. Visit the official OJEE counselling portal at ojee.nic.in.
  2. Click the "Seat Allotment Result" or "Round [X] Allotment Result" link on the homepage or the Notices section.
  3. Enter your Roll Number and Password in the login fields, then click Submit or Login.
  4. Your dashboard opens. Navigate to the "Allotment Result" or "Allotment Letter" tab.
  5. View your allotted institute, programme, branch, and category on screen.
  6. Click "Download Provisional Allotment Letter" and save the PDF. Print at least two copies.
  7. Within the acceptance window for that round, complete all three mandatory steps: upload scanned documents, select your willingness option (FREEZE or FLOAT), and pay the seat acceptance fee. Non-completion of any step results in automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.

Institute-wise allotment lists and round-wise opening and closing ranks are also published on ojee.nic.in after individual results are released, enabling students to compare their standing across programmes.

Accept / Freeze / Float

Accept, Freeze or Float — What to Do After Allotment

After viewing your allotment, you must indicate your willingness on the portal within the acceptance window for that round. OJEE 2026 offers two willingness options — FREEZE and FLOAT — each suited to a different situation. Students who do not submit their willingness and pay the fee within the deadline have their allotted seat cancelled automatically; they may re-enter only if the next round’s choice-revision window is still open.

Option What It Means When to Choose
FREEZE (No-Upgradation) You permanently accept the allotted seat and exit the counselling pool. OJEEC does not consider you for any further upgrades in subsequent rounds. When you are fully satisfied with the allotted institute and programme and want to lock in your admission without competing further.
FLOAT (YES-Upgradation) You accept the current seat as a fallback but remain in the pool for a better choice — a higher-preference institute or branch — in the next allotment round based on vacancy and your preference order. When the allotted college or branch is acceptable but a higher-preference option from your choice list may still become available in Round 2 or Round 3.

If you select FLOAT and receive an upgraded allotment in Round 2 or Round 3, you must complete online reporting for that new round within its acceptance window. If no upgrade is available, your current allotment is automatically carried forward. At the end of all rounds, the seat you last accepted and paid for becomes your confirmed admission.

Seat Acceptance Fee

OJEE Seat Acceptance Fee 2026

A part admission fee — referred to as the seat acceptance fee — must be paid online within the acceptance window each time a seat is allotted to you. This fee is adjusted against your total tuition fees at the time of final physical admission at the allotted institute, so it does not represent an additional cost over your programme fees. Payment is accepted through the OJEE portal via net banking, debit card, or credit card. Retain the payment receipt as proof.

Category Part Admission Fee (Seat Acceptance Fee)
General / SEBC Rs 10,000
SC / ST / Persons with Disability (PH) Rs 5,000

The fee applies per round in which a seat is allotted and accepted. Students who upgrade from Round 1 to Round 2 via FLOAT and receive a new allotment must pay the fee again for that new allotment. The fee is non-refundable if a seat is later withdrawn at the student’s own request. Students not allotted any seat across all rounds are eligible for a refund as per OJEEC’s refund policy.

Reporting Documents

Documents Required for Reporting

After receiving your allotment and completing online acceptance, you must upload scanned copies of the documents listed below on the OJEE portal within the acceptance window for that round. Physical reporting with originals is required at the allotted institute by August 3, 2026 — this is the step that converts your provisional allotment into a confirmed admission and must not be missed.

  • OJEE 2026 Rank Card (downloaded from the official portal)
  • OJEE 2026 Counselling Registration Form
  • Class 10 (SSC or equivalent) mark sheet and pass certificate
  • Class 12 (CHSE or equivalent) mark sheet and pass certificate
  • Odisha Nativity or Permanent Residence Certificate (issued by a competent authority)
  • Category certificate — OBC/SEBC, SC, ST, or PH certificate as applicable
  • Aadhaar card or other government-issued photo ID
  • Provisional Allotment Letter for the current round (downloaded from ojee.nic.in)
  • Recent passport-size photographs as specified in the information bulletin

Lateral Entry (LE-Tech / LE-B.Sc.) students must also submit diploma mark sheets from all semesters and the diploma pass certificate. PG track students (M.Tech, MBA, MCA, and others) must bring their qualifying degree certificate and all semester mark sheets from their undergraduate programme. OJEEC may request additional documents at the institute level; verify the complete checklist in the official information bulletin before reporting.

If No Seat Allotted

What If No Seat Is Allotted

Not receiving a seat in Round 1 does not end your OJEE 2026 counselling participation. Students who were not allotted a seat in Round 1 can revise their college and branch preferences during the Round 2 choice-editing window and be automatically considered when Round 2 allotment runs on July 15, 2026 (tentative). OJEEC opens a fresh preference-editing window before each round so unallotted students can broaden their choices and improve their chances.

  • Revise your preferences: Log in to ojee.nic.in during the Round 2 choice-revision window. Add more colleges, diversify across districts, and include both government and private institutes to widen your pool.
  • Wait for Round 2: Round 2 allotment for all tracks is tentatively expected on July 15, 2026. Updated preferences are automatically considered; no fresh registration is needed.
  • Participate in Round 3 / Special Round: If you remain unallotted after Round 2, you are eligible for the Round 3 allotment on July 30, 2026 (tentative), which fills seats vacant after Round 2.
  • Watch for a Spot Round: If seats remain after all three main rounds, OJEEC may announce a spot admission round on ojee.nic.in with walk-in reporting at designated centres.
  • Refund eligibility: Students who complete counselling registration but receive no seat across all rounds are eligible for a refund of the counselling fee under OJEEC’s refund policy. Contact OJEEC through the official portal for refund requests.

FAQs

OJEE Seat Allotment 2026 FAQs

Ques. How do I check my OJEE 2026 seat allotment result?

Ans. Visit ojee.nic.in, click the "Seat Allotment Result" link for the current round on the homepage or the Notices section, and log in with your Roll Number and Password. Open the Allotment Result or Allotment Letter tab in your dashboard to view your allotted institute, programme, and branch. Download and print the provisional allotment letter for online reporting and physical verification.

Ques. What is the difference between FREEZE and FLOAT in OJEE 2026 counselling?

Ans. FREEZE means you permanently accept the allotted seat and exit the counselling pool — OJEEC will not consider you for any upgrade in later rounds. FLOAT means you accept the current seat as a backup but remain eligible for a better college or branch in Round 2 or Round 3, based on your preference order and available vacancies.

Ques. When is the OJEE 2026 Round 2 seat allotment result expected?

Ans. Round 2 allotment for all three tracks — UG, Lateral Entry, and PG — is tentatively expected on July 15, 2026, with an acceptance and online reporting window expected from July 15 to July 19, 2026. These dates are from the official tentative schedule released June 23, 2026; check ojee.nic.in for any revision.

Ques. What is the seat acceptance fee for OJEE 2026?

Ans. The part admission fee (seat acceptance fee) is Rs 10,000 for General and SEBC students and Rs 5,000 for SC, ST, and Persons with Disability (PH) students. It must be paid online through the OJEE portal within the acceptance window for each round in which a seat is allotted; non-payment leads to automatic cancellation of the allotted seat.

Ques. What documents do I need to upload after OJEE 2026 seat allotment?

Ans. You must upload scanned copies of your OJEE 2026 Rank Card, Class 10 and Class 12 mark sheets, Odisha nativity or residence certificate, category certificate (if applicable), Aadhaar card, and the provisional allotment letter. Lateral Entry students must also include diploma mark sheets from all semesters; PG students must submit their qualifying degree certificate and undergraduate mark sheets.

Ques. What happens if I do not pay the seat acceptance fee within the deadline?

Ans. If you do not pay within the acceptance window, your allotted seat is automatically cancelled by OJEEC. You may still participate in Round 2 or Round 3 by revising preferences during the choice-editing window, but you will need to be freshly allotted a seat in a subsequent round and pay the fee again for that new allotment.

Ques. Can I change my college preferences after Round 1 allotment?

Ans. Yes. Students who were not allotted a seat in Round 1, or who received a seat and selected FLOAT, can revise their college and branch preferences during the Round 2 choice-editing window. For UG students this window ran from July 3 to July 11, 2026. OJEEC opens a similar revision window before each subsequent round.

Ques. When must I report physically to the allotted institute?

Ans. Students with a confirmed seat — either by selecting FREEZE or at the conclusion of the final round — must report physically to the allotted institute with original documents by August 3, 2026 to complete all admission formalities. Failure to report by this deadline may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.
