2nd OJEE 2026 — Supplementary Cycle Pattern

The 2nd OJEE 2026 uses a reduced pattern — roughly half the questions and half the duration of the main exam. It targets seats left vacant after the first-phase counselling. The exam is scheduled for July 13–15, 2026. Students who already hold a rank from main OJEE 2026 or JEE Main 2026 do not need to appear.

OJEE Marking Scheme 2026

OJEE 2026 applies two distinct marking schemes depending on the course. Standard technical and management courses follow +4/−1 marking. All nursing courses follow a separate +1/no-negative scheme. The same schemes apply to the 2nd OJEE 2026.

Negative marking of 1 mark applies to every wrong MCQ answer in standard courses — avoid guessing when you have no idea, especially in Engineering Mathematics and Reasoning sections where errors cascade into large mark losses.

OJEE 2026 uses only Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) across all courses and papers. There are no numerical/integer-type questions, no assertion-reason items, no passage-based sets, and no descriptive components in any OJEE paper.

• The exam is fully objective — no writing, no subjective, no short-answer components at all.
• You can change your selected answer any number of times before final submission; only the last selection is recorded.
• There is no sectional time limit — you decide how much time to spend on each subject within the total duration.

How to Prepare Based on OJEE Exam Pattern

1. Confirm your course paper before you start. OJEE has different papers for LE-Tech (Diploma), LE-Tech (B.Sc.), MCA, MBA, B.Pharm, M.Tech, and more. Subject overlap between papers is minimal — preparing for the wrong paper wastes time.
2. Budget approximately 1 minute per question. A 120-question, 2-hour paper gives you 60 seconds per question on average. A 90-question, 2-hour paper gives about 80 seconds. Practice MCQs within those time windows using timed mock tests.
3. Use the −1 penalty as a strategic guide. With +4/−1 marking, a wrong answer costs 5 marks relative to leaving it blank. Attempt a question only if you can eliminate at least two of the four options confidently — skip otherwise.
4. Divide preparation equally across all subjects in your paper. LE-Tech (Diploma) splits 40 questions equally across three subjects; weakness in any single subject costs 160 marks. No subject can be neglected.
5. MBA students: give General Awareness & Business Fundamentals serious attention. It carries 30 questions for 120 marks and is widely under-prepared. Start reading current affairs and business news at least 6 weeks before the exam.
6. MCA students: treat Computer Awareness and Mathematics as equally important. Both carry 60 questions for 240 marks each. A gap in either subject limits your rank potential significantly.
7. Nursing students: attempt every single question. There is no negative marking. A blank answer and a wrong answer both score zero — every attempt is risk-free and can only help your score.
