The NIOS Class 12th (Senior Secondary) Results for the January 2026 on-demand examination (ODE) sessions were announced by March 25th, 2026. The results for both of the January ODE sessions- session A (January 1- 15), and B (January 16- 31) have been released on the official NIOS website.

• Class 12th students need their Enrollment number/ Roll number to access their National Institute of Open Schooling Results 2026.

1. Visit results.nios.ac.in on the browser.
2. Click on the ‘Check Result’ option on the ‘On-Demand Examination Result’ or the ’Senior and Senior Secondary’ tab on the homepage.
3. Enter your Enrollment number/ Roll number and the CAPTCHA in the new dialogue box that appears on the screen.
4. Click Submit.

To view your scores via SMS,

1. Open the messaging application on your mobile.

4. You will receive your subject-wise marks in a short while at your mobile number in the form of an SMS.
5. Save the SMS for future reference.

NIOS Class 12 Result 2026: Passing Criteria

To be deemed ‘Pass’ in the Class 12 ODE NIOS Results 2026, the student needs to satisfy the following conditions:

• Must secure 33% marks in the Theory Exams,
• Must obtain 33% marks in the Practical Exams separately,
• Must have an aggregate mark of at least 33%,
• Must ‘Pass’ in at least 5 Subjects (including at least 1 but not more than 2 Language Subjects)

Note: Someone who has obtained an aggregate of 35% marks in the National Institute of Open Schooling Class 12 ODE will be deemed as ‘Failed’ if they don’t obtain the 33% marks in Theory and Practical papers separately, or if they ‘Pass’ in 5 subjects (including 3 Language papers).
