MH CET Law Result 2026 Out: Check Result Dates for 3 Years LLB and 5 Years LLB Courses

State CET Cell will release MH CET Law result 2026 separately for 3 Year LLB and 5 Year Integrated LLB courses.

• MH CET Law 2026 result date for 3 year LLB is expected between 10 May - 15 May 2026.
• MH CET Law result 2026 for 5 year LLB is expected to be released between 5 June - 10 June 2026.
• To download MH CET Law 2026 scorecard, students have to login to the candidate portal with the help of the application ID and DOB.
• Before the results are released, CET Cell releases provisional and final answer keys.
• The provisional answer key can be challenged if candidates find any objections during the Objection tracker window.

• Step 4: Click on “Submit”

MH CET Law 2026 Scorecard

MH CET Law scores for 3 year and 5 year LLB courses are released separately by State CET Cell.

A MH CET Law scorecard will contain the following details related to a candidate:

• Candidate’s Name
• Roll Number
• Application Number
• Category
• Photograph
• MH CET Law Score

MH CET Law Merit List 2026

Maharashtra CET Cell will release 2 types of merit list for MH CET Law 2026, one is Alphabetical Merit List and Final Merit List.

• The tentative score-based merit list will be prepared for the candidates to download and check their names.
• Candidates having any objection with the merit lists can raise objections during the grievance window which opens soon after merit list release.

MH CET Law Merit List will contain information like:

• Candidate’s Name
• Application ID
• Gender
• Category
• MH CET Law score
• Class 10/diploma marks
• Class 12th marks (aggregate and subject-wise)
• Graduation marks

MH CET Law Score Normalization 2026

Maharashtra CET Cell normalizes the MH Law scores to provide a level-playing field to each candidate appearing for the exam since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts.

• CET Cell uses a percentile formula to normalize the MH CET Law scores.
• The following formula is used to normalize the scores:

• Normalized score is indicated up to seven digits after the decimal point to avoid ties.

Note: The Percentile of the Total shall NOT be an aggregate or average of the Percentile of individual subjects. Percentile score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained.

MH CET Law Result 2026: Tie-Breaking Criteria

If two or more students obtain the same score in the MH CET Law exam, the CET Cell uses a tie-breaking criteria to determine their ranks.

The tie-breaking rules differ slightly for the 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes as given below:

For 3-year LLB Course

• Candidates with higher marks in their graduation degree are ranked higher.
• If needed, marks in the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination are also taken into account.

For 5-year LLB Course

• Preference is given to candidates with higher marks in Class 12.
• For candidates from the Maharashtra Board, those with higher marks in the First Language (e.g., Marathi) are preferred.
• For students from CBSE/ICSE boards, marks in the best five subjects are considered.
