KIITEE 2025 eligibility criteria has been released by Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology. The eligibility criteria to appear for KIITEE 2025 exam is completely different for each course. It is essential for all candidates to check the eligibility criteria before appearing for the exam.
For the majority of UG programs, KIITEE 2025 eligibility criteria ranges from 45%-50% in class 10+2 in the equivalent field. Similarly, the eligibility criteria for PG and PhD courses goes around 55%-60%. If we talk about the age limit, it is only applicable for BSc Nursing curriculum, where candidates’ minimum age limit should be 17 years as on 31.12.2025. Maximum age limit for KIITEE 2025 exam is 35 years as on 31.12.2025.
Candidates, meeting their course wise eligibility criteria, can fill KIITEE 2025 application form. Although, it must be noted that filling the application form, however, does not guarantee your admission. It certainly depends on certain other factors also. About 15%, 7.5%, and 3% seats reserved for SC, ST, and differently abled students.
KIITEE MBA 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Some details on KIITEE MBA eligibility criteria are given below:
- Graduates in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), with a minimum of 15 years of education (10+2+3 or 10+2+4 basis) and minimum 50% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) can apply. The percentage of aggregate marks is to be calculated taking all subjects into consideration including optional subjects.
- Where the University/Institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, percentage score would be calculated by dividing the obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.
- Those who are in the final year bachelor's degree course and expect to complete all the requirements of graduation before June 30, 2025 can also apply.
A candidate who is going to appear for the final year of graduation is also eligible for KIITEE 2025 exam.
KIITEE 2025 Eligibility for UG Courses
Eligibility criteria of all the UG courses for KIITEE 2025 are given below
For B.Tech/ B.Tech & M.Tech (Biotechnology)
Candidates who want to apply for the 4 years B. Tech courses must follow the following criteria
- Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination in 2025, 2025 or appearing in 10+2 examination in 2025 are only eligible to apply for B.Tech (4 Years) course of the University.
- Should have studied in regular full time formal education in their schooling/college.
- Pass in 10 +2 or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together.
- B.Tech & M.Tech Biotechnology. Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology taken together.
- Should have born on or after 01.07.2004.
For B.Tech Lateral Entry
Pass in three years diploma course in Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from State Council of Technical Education of any state.

For Bachelor of Architecture
- A pass10+2 examination with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and also 50% marks in aggregate of the 10+2 examination. Pass in the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by the Council of Architecture (COA), New Delhi 2025.
For B.Sc Nursing
- Candidate with Science who have passed the qualifying 12th standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
- Age: Lower age should be 17 years as on 31.12.2025 & upper age limit should be maximum 35 years as on 31.12.2025.
For B.A LLM/BBA LLB/BSc LLB
- 10+2 pass or equivalent in any stream with at least 45% marks. For B.Sc. LL.B candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent in the science stream with at least 45% marks
For BBA
- Pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics/Business Mathematics/Economics/Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level.
For BCA
- Pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level.
For Bachelor of Design (Fashion/Textile)
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Central/State Board with 50% marks in aggregate
For Bachelor of Film & Television Production
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Central/State Board with 50% marks in aggregate.
For Bachelor of Communication & Journalism
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Central / State Board with 50% marks in aggregate.
For B.Sc Computer Science
- Pass in 10+2 Science or equivalent having mathematics as one of the subject with at least 50% marks.
For BA in Economics, English, Sociology, Psychology (Hons)
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
For B.Pharma
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate
For D.Pharma
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English (PCBE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate
For B.Com
- Pass in 10+2 in any stream with at least 50% marks and having Mathematics / Business Mathematics & Statistics as one of the subjects in 10+2 level
For B.Design(Automobile/Product/Graphic)
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Central/State Board with 50% marks in aggregate
Note: A candidate who has passed IB Diploma from International Baccalaureate Organization, Geneva, Switzerland are eligible to take admission in all the courses where 10+2 is the eligibility qualification. Other criteria of the eligibility remain as applicable.
KIITEE 2025 Eligibility for PG Courses
The eligibility criteria are different in all the levels of PG courses. Those are given below.
For MCA
- For this course, a candidate needs to qualify graduation with minimum 50% marks and Mathematics as a compulsory subject in class 12 or 10+2 or graduation
For MCA
- Any Graduate with minimum 50% marks in graduation or equivalent having mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subject
For M.Tech/ Int. M.Tech & Ph.D
- B.E. or B.Tech. or equivalent Degree (e.g. AMIE, GRADE-IETE etc) in respective branches of Engineering and Technology with a First Class or equivalent CGPA or First Class MCA / First Class M.Sc. in (Comp/IT/ETC). GATE qualified candidates shall be accorded preference in the process of selection. GATE qualified candidates having Score 400 or above need not sit in the entrance Examination.
For M. Sc in Biotechnology or Applied Microbiology
- A candidate should have passed 10+2+3 in the stream of Science/Agriculture/Pharmacy/Veterinary/Engineering/Technology/Medicine and has got minimum 55% marks to be eligible for this course.
For M.Sc in Nursing
- An applicant needs to pass B.Sc in Nursing or BSc Honours in Nursing with minimum 55% marks in aggregate are eligible for the course. In this case, a minimum 5% relaxation is considered for the reserved candidates like SC/ST candidates.
For LLM
- For this course, a candidate should have passed B.A LLB/ BBA LLB/B.Sc LLB/B.L or equivalent degree from a recognised university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
For Master of Public Health
- A candidate who has passed 10+2+3 in Health Science like MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS BNYS/BPT/BSc Nursing with a minimum score of 50% from a recognised board is eligible for the course.
For Master of Hospital Administration
- Candidate must have passed Bachelors’ degree in Medicine, AYUSH, Dentistry, Nursing, Pharmacy, Veterinary Sciences, Physiotherapy, or Allied Health Sciences from a recognized university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or) Bachelor’s degree in Technology (BTech), Computer Application (BCA), Hospital Administration (BHA/BHM), Public Health (BPH/BSc-PH), Business Administration (BBA), Law (LLB) or equivalent degree from a recognized Institute or university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or) Bachelors’ degree in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized Institute or university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate, (or) Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any other discipline from a recognized Institute or university with minimum 50% marks in aggregate
For M.Sc. (Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics and Data Sciences)
- B.Sc./B.E./B.Tech. or an equivalent degree with at least 60% marks, Students possessing Bachelor’s Degree with Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics as one of the main subjects or Engineering graduates with a strong aptitude for the above areas are eligible to apply. Students who are in the final year of graduation may also apply.
For For M.A (Sports & Yogic Sciences)
- Graduates of any disciplines are available
For M.Sc. Computer Science
- Candidates must have B.Sc degree in Computer Science / IT /Mathematics /Electronics /Physics /Chemistry /BCA with minimum 50% aggregate marks
For M.Arch
- Candidates must have B.Arch degree with minimum 50% aggregate mark
For MA in Economics
- Students must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with one subject as Economics / Mathematics / Statistics with at least 60% mark.
For MA in English
- The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with one subject as English with at least 60% mark.
For MA in Sociology
- The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 60% mark.
For M.Com
- The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Management or Commerce from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate
For M.A in Psychology
- The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 60% mark
For Master of Communication & Journalism
- The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 50% mark
For M.A / M.Sc Public Policy
- The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 60% mark having mathematics / statistics / Business mathematics either in 10+2 or graduation level as one of the subjects
For M.Design (Interior Design)
- The candidate must have passed in Graduation or equivalent with at least 50% mark
KIITEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria for Research Program
For Ph.D
Candidate having M.Tech /ME/ MCA/MBA or equivalent Degree with minimum 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA or M.Sc./MA/M.Com/LLM or an equivalent degree with minimum of 60% marks or an equivalent
Note: For all the courses, candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can also apply. But, they have to produce the pass certificate of the qualifying examination on the day of counseling failing which their rank/position secured in the entrance Examination will stand cancelled automatically and they will have no claim for the admissions as per the rank
KIITEE 2025 Reservation Criteria
Reservation criteria are set by the KIIT university for the students from SC/ST categories. This is different from any other categories. A candidate who belongs to the reserved category should know the guidelines set for them by the university. In this case, a candidate needs to show the documents as proof for their reservation.
A reservation criterion for the reserved candidates is tabulated below.
