JELET 2026: Detailed Exam Pattern

JELET 2026 has two papers, and you attempt the one that matches your diploma or degree stream. Paper I is for Engineering and Technology streams, while Paper II is for Pharmacy. Both papers carry 100 questions and run for 2 hours.

Paper I — Engineering and Technology

Paper I splits its 100 questions into two categories. Category 1 has 80 questions of 1 mark each, and Category 2 has 20 questions of 2 marks each.

Paper II — Pharmacy

JELET Marking Scheme 2026

JELET 2026 uses only objective questions, so you mark answers on an OMR sheet. You should understand the two question formats before exam day to plan your attempts.

There is no negative marking for Category 2 questions, so attempt them carefully for partial credit.
