What is JEECE Application Form 2026?

JEECE is the Jharkhand Engineering Entrance Competitive Examination for lateral entry, conducted annually by JCECEB. It offers diploma holders and B.Sc. graduates a direct route to the second year (third semester) of B.Tech programmes at government-aided and self-financed engineering colleges across Jharkhand. JEECE 2026 Eligibility Criteria (Before You Apply)

Verify your eligibility before filling the JEECE 2026 application form. Applications from ineligible students are rejected and the fee is not refunded.

Qualifying Examination:

• You must have passed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a Board of Technical Education or institution recognised by the Government of Jharkhand, in the relevant engineering branch.
• Alternatively, you must hold a B.Sc. degree with Mathematics as a subject from a recognised university.
• Minimum aggregate marks required: 45% for General/OBC/EWS students and 40% for SC/ST/PwD students.
• Students appearing in the final year/semester of their qualifying diploma or B.Sc. examination in 2026 may also apply, subject to successful completion before the counselling round.

Age Limit: You must be at least 17 years of age as on July 1, 2026. There is no upper age limit specified for JEECE 2026.

Domicile Requirement: You must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand and hold a valid Jharkhand domicile certificate issued by the competent authority.

Nationality: Indian citizens only.

How to Fill JEECE Application Form 2026

The JEECE 2026 application form is available on the official JCECEB portal. Complete both phases before June 12, 2026.

Phase 1: New Registration

1. Visit the official JCECEB portal at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in and click "Apply Online" or "New Registration" on the homepage.
2. Enter your full name, date of birth, mobile number, and email ID exactly as they appear on your diploma or qualifying certificate.
3. Verify your mobile number using the OTP sent via SMS to activate your account.
4. Set a strong password and note your Application Number carefully — you will need it for all future logins.
5. Save your login credentials in a secure place; they are required for admit card download, result checking, and counselling.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Log in using your Application Number and Password at jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in.
2. Fill in personal details: full name, date of birth, gender, category (General/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD), and place of birth.
3. Fill in academic details: name of diploma/B.Sc. institution, year of passing, roll number, subjects studied, total marks, and percentage obtained.
4. Enter your Jharkhand domicile details — domicile certificate number, issuing authority, and date of issue.
5. Select your preferred exam centres in order of preference from the list of JCECEB-designated cities.
6. Upload your photograph, signature, and all other required documents in the specified format and size — see the Documents section below.
7. Review every detail carefully before proceeding — cross-check your name, date of birth, category, domicile, and uploaded photo.
8. Pay the application fee via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. No offline payment is accepted.
9. Download and save your confirmation page immediately after payment. Take a printout and keep it safe.

Note: Submit only one application form. Multiple applications from the same student will be rejected and the fee will not be refunded.

Documents Required for JEECE Application Form 2026

Scan and keep all documents ready before you start filling the JEECE 2026 application form. Uploading blurry, incomplete, or incorrect documents causes application rejection.

Note: Upload a recent passport-size photograph with a white background and at least 80% of your face clearly visible. Do not upload edited, filtered, studio-retouched, or cropped photographs — these are rejected during scrutiny and your form may be cancelled.

Pay the JEECE 2026 application fee online after completing the form. The fee payment deadline is June 12, 2026. No offline payment mode (cheque, demand draft, or cash) is accepted by JCECEB.
