IPMAT 5 Years Question Paper Analysis
Over the past 5 years, from 2025 – 2020, the IPMAT question paper exam pattern has shown a clear shift toward concept-based, data-driven, and problem-solving in both sections QA and VA.
In Quantitative Ability
- Algebra dominates (66 questions), followed by Data Interpretation (2–10 questions yearly) with a growing focus on logic-based sets.
- Core topics like Number Systems, Progressions, and Set Theory remain consistently important, while Logarithms and Probability are gaining weightage.
- Geometry basics appear every year, but Trigonometry is declining in importance.
In Verbal Ability
- The biggest change is the rise of Reading Comprehension (16 to 27 questions), making it the most important area.
- At the same time, grammar has almost disappeared, while vocabulary topics like fillers, idioms, and confusing words remain relevant but slightly less prominent.

Ans. IPMAT exam is usually moderate. Last year the overall difficulty level as moderate but the Verbal Ability section was easy. Quantitative Ability and Quantitative Aptitude were moderate to difficult.

Ques. Can I crack IPMAT in 1 month?
