IPMAT Application Form 2026: Registration Closed, How to Apply and Form Correction

The IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is conducted by IIM Indore for admission to its five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). The IPMAT 2026 application form was open from February 2, 2026 to March 17, 2026 at the official website iimidr.ac.in. The registration window is now closed; the exam was conducted on May 4, 2026, and results were declared on May 25, 2026.

What is IPMAT Application Form 2026?

The IPMAT 2026 application form was the official online registration gateway for IIM Indore’s five-year Integrated Programme in Management (IPM). IIM Indore accepted applications from February 2, 2026 to March 17, 2026 (extended from the original deadline of March 14, 2026) via its official portal at iimidr.ac.in. The written test was held on May 4, 2026 (afternoon shift, 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM), and results were declared on May 25, 2026. Students who cleared the aptitude test were shortlisted for a Personal Interview (PI) at IIM Indore as part of the final selection process.

IPMAT Registration Trends — Last 5 Years

IPMAT Indore has seen consistent growth in applications, with registrations crossing 28,000 in 2024 and touching 30,220 in 2025 — confirming sustained demand for the five-year IPM programme. The 2022 cycle saw a notable gap between registrations (~30,000) and actual appearances (~18,000), reflecting the competitive filtering even before the exam. With year-on-year growth steady since 2022, the 2026 cycle was expected to maintain or exceed the 30,000 registration mark.

IPMAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria (Before You Apply)

Before filling the IPMAT 2026 application form, students had to confirm they met all eligibility conditions set by IIM Indore. Applications from ineligible students were rejected at the scrutiny stage, with no fee refund.

Students who had already completed a bachelor’s degree before applying for IPMAT 2026 were NOT eligible. The IPM is an undergraduate-entry programme for students appearing in or just out of Class 12. The minimum marks threshold applies to aggregate percentage across all subjects — not just the best-of-five. How to Fill IPMAT Application Form 2026

The IPMAT 2026 application was completed in two phases through the IIM Indore applicant portal at iimidr.ac.in. The steps below describe the process that was followed during the open window (February 2 – March 17, 2026).

Phase 1: New Registration

1. Visited the official IIM Indore website at iimidr.ac.in and navigated to the IPM Admissions section to click "Apply Online".
2. Entered basic details — full name, date of birth, mobile number, and email address — exactly as they appear on the Class 10 certificate.
3. Verified the mobile number using the OTP sent by SMS to activate the account.
4. Set a strong password and noted the Application Number generated by the system — required for all future logins, admit card download, and PI correspondence.
5. Saved login credentials securely; IIM Indore does not send reminder emails for forgotten passwords.

Phase 2: Fill the Application Form

1. Logged in to the applicant portal using the Application Number and Password.
2. Filled in personal details: full name, date of birth, gender, category (General / NC-OBC / EWS / SC / ST / PwD), nationality, and place of birth.
3. Filled in academic details: Class 10 board name, year of passing, roll number, and aggregate percentage; Class 12 board name, year of passing or "appearing", and aggregate percentage.
4. Selected exam centre city preferences from the available list of cities across India (up to the number of choices permitted in the form).
5. Uploaded a recent passport-size photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format, each within the 80 KB file-size limit.
6. Uploaded scanned copies of Class 10 marksheet, Class 12 marksheet, and category certificate (if applicable) in PDF format.
7. Reviewed all details carefully — cross-checked name, date of birth, category, photograph, and academic percentages before proceeding to payment.
8. Paid the non-refundable application fee via debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
9. Downloaded and saved the confirmation page after successful payment — took a printout to keep safe for the exam and PI process.

Note: Submit only one application form. Multiple applications from the same student are rejected and the fee paid for duplicate submissions is not refunded under any circumstance.

Documents Required for IPMAT Application Form 2026

Students were required to upload the following documents during the IPMAT 2026 application. All uploads had to be clear, legible, and within the format and size limits specified by IIM Indore.

Note: Upload a recent passport-size photograph taken not older than 3 months, with a white background and your face clearly visible. Do not upload edited, filtered, or retouched photographs — these are rejected during form scrutiny, and you may not be permitted to appear for the exam.

IPMAT Application Fee 2026

The IPMAT 2026 application fee was set by IIM Indore on a category-wise basis, inclusive of 18% GST. The fee was payable online only — no offline payment modes were accepted.

Payment was accepted via: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI. No offline payment modes (cheque, demand draft, or cash) were accepted. The payment portal was integrated into the IIM Indore applicant portal at iimidr.ac.in.

Note: The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances — even if your form is rejected during scrutiny, you withdraw your application, or you do not appear for the exam on the scheduled date.

Note: If your payment failed or was deducted but not confirmed, IIM Indore advised students not to retry immediately. Wait 48–72 hours for the deducted amount to be auto-refunded to your account before attempting a fresh payment.

IPMAT Application Form Correction 2026

IIM Indore provided a two-day form correction window from March 23, 2026 (10:00 AM) to March 24, 2026 (5:00 PM). Students who had already submitted and paid for their application could log in during this window to make permitted changes.

What Could Be Changed

• Photograph and signature (if uploaded incorrectly or rejected by the system)
• Academic details — board name, year of passing, roll number, percentage (if entered incorrectly)
• Exam centre city preferences
• Category and category certificate (re-upload of supporting document required)
• Minor corrections to personal details as permitted by the portal

What Could NOT Be Changed

• Name (as entered during the initial registration)
• Date of birth
• Mobile number and email ID (used as login identifiers)
• Application Number
• Exam paper / programme applied for

How to Make Corrections

1. Logged in to the IIM Indore applicant portal at iimidr.ac.in using the Application Number and Password.
2. Clicked on "Application Form Correction" or "Edit Application" in the dashboard.
3. Made the required changes only in the permitted fields.
4. Re-uploaded documents (photograph, signature, certificate) if needed.
5. Submitted the corrected form and downloaded the revised confirmation page as proof of correction.

Note: Once the correction window closed on March 24, 2026 (5:00 PM), no further changes were accepted under any circumstances — neither by email, phone, nor any offline request to IIM Indore.
