Association of Minority Professional Academic Institutes (AMPAI) will release the notification and exam pattern for CEE AMPAI 2024 on its official website. The exam will be conducted for aspirants seeking admission into various PG courses in the affiliated colleges via minority quota.
CEE AMPAI 2024 is a pen and paper-based test i.e. offline. The medium of language is English only and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours. It is comprised of multiple choice questions (MCQs) for PG courses.
The total number of questions asked in the entrance test varies with the course chosen by candidates. Every question will be followed by 4 alternative responses suggested as answers, out of which the best answer should be chosen.
There is 2 categories of questions- Category 1 in which each correct answer will carry +1 mark and Category 2 in which a correct answer will be awarded +2 marks.Negative marking is not applicable for CEE AMPAI 2024.
The syllabus for CEE AMPAI 2024 is based on graduation-level knowledge for PG programs. The difficulty level of the test is generally of moderate level.

CEE AMPAI 2024 Exam Pattern in Detail
CEE AMPAI 2024 is a conventional pen and paper based test. The exam paper is available in the English language only for all courses. It is comprise of objective questions to be solved within 180 minutes. The maximum marks a candidate can score in CEE AMPAI 2024 are 150 for PG courses (200 for MBA). Students must choose the most appropriate answer out of 4 alternative options available in the exam paper. It must be noted that negative marking is not applicable in this test for any course.

CEE AMPAI 2024 Exam Pattern for MBA course
- The question paper is divided into 5 sections- Language Comprehension, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Quantitative Techniques.
- Each section is comprise of 40 questions of 1 mark each.
- The maximum obtainable marks are 200.
CEE AMPAI 2024 Exam Pattern for MCA course
- The question paper is divided into 2 sections- Mathematics and Aptitude Test.
- Mathematics section is comprise of 80 questions out of which 60 questions will carry 1 mark each and remaining 20 questions will carry 2 marks.
- Aptitude Test section is consist of 50 questions of 1 mark each.
CEE AMPAI 2024 Exam Pattern for M Tech course
- The test paper is consist of a single section.
- It will have 150 questions of 1 mark each, the maximum obtainable marks being 150.
CEE AMPAI 2024 Exam Pattern for M Pharm course
- The exam paper is divided into 2 sections.
- Section 1 is consist of 100 question of 1 mark each while Section 2 will consist of 25 questions of 2 marks each.
- The total marks for this test are 150.

Marking Scheme
Candidates must know the marking scheme in order to decide how to attempt the questions in the AMPAI entrance test. There has been no change in the marking scheme of CEE AMPAI 2024 and it is the same as it was for the year 2018. Participants must note that negative marking is not applicable for the test. The marking scheme is given as follows:
- Marks is awarded as per category of the questions. +1 mark will be awarded for questions of Category 1 and +2 marks will be awarded to participants for questions of Category 2.
- A penalty of marks shall not be charged for marking wrong or incorrect answers i.e. negative marking will not be applicable.
- Marks is not be deducted from the total score of aspirants for leaving a question blank or not attempting it.
- If applicants indicate two options it will be considered as a wrong answer and applicants will not be awarded any marks for that particular question.
CEE AMPAI 2024 Exam Syllabus
The syllabus for CEE AMPAI 2024 is based on Graduate level knowledge for PG courses. It will be as decided by the association for every stream. The detailed syllabus will be put up on the official website of the exam. The syllabus for the various PG programs is given as follows:
MBA
The syllabus will be at par with all national level management tests. It will consist topics that will test the verbal ability, reasoning and quantitative aptitude of applicants. Important topics for every section for the MBA exam are-
- Language Comprehension- English grammar, Comprehension, Vocabulary, Common Phrases and Idioms, Synonyms & Antonyms.
- General Awareness- Finance and Economy, History & Geography, Sports, Political events, Technology.
- Logical Reasoning- Sets based on arrangements, Syllogisms, Family Tree, Verbal and Critical reasoning, Analogy, Output-Input based questions, Problem solving and observation.
- Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation- Arithmetic Problems, Modern Mathematics, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Common Graphs & Charts.
MCA
The paper will cover Mathematics studied till class 12 and some questions to test the aptitude of students will also be asked. The main topics for Mathematics and Aptitude Test sections are-
- Mathematics- Analytical Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, Probability & Statistics.
- Aptitude Test- Reasoning, Quantitative Comparison, Problem Solving Discrete Quantitative Analysis & Data Interpretation.
M.Tech and M Pharm
For these courses, the syllabus will be based on graduation level knowledge of the particular stream chosen by candidates.

Important Instructions
It is the responsibility of all students to ensure that they follow some rules and regulations set by the AMPAI to maintain the decorum of the exam hall so that the examination proceeds properly.
- Students must report to their designated test center 45 minutes prior to the test.
- They must bring the CEE AMPAI 2024 Admit Card, Class 10th or 12th Board Hall ticket and a Black or Blue ball point pen.
- Seats indicating Roll Numbers will be allocated to each candidate. Applicants must find out and occupy their allotted seats.
- Individuals should note carefully that they must write the “Question Booklet No. and Question Booklet Series” at the indicated places both on the OMR answer sheet and attendance sheet during examination. OMR sheets of students who have not followed this procedure properly will not be checked.
- Applicants must darken the bubble in the prescribed way to mark their answers on the OMR sheet, otherwise the answers will not be considered.
- They may approach the invigilator for any assistance regarding technical issues, first aid emergency or information regarding the test.
- Applicants will not be permitted to leave the exam hall without handing over their OMR sheet and question booklet to the invigilator on duty otherwise this may lead to cancellation of the concerned paper.
