AP PGECET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
First of all, the candidate must bean Indian citizen and belong to Andhra Pradesh state with a domicile status. You should also have a relevant Bachelor's degree (BE, B Tech, B Pharm or equivalent) from an AICTE/UGC approved institution, which is recognised by the Govt of Andhra Pradesh.
- General (open) category students must secure at least 50% marks in their qualifying degree.
- Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/BC) must have at least 45% marks.
- Applicants must satisfy the eligibility criteria regarding the local and non-local status requirements as per the Andhra Pradesh Govt rules.
- Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation can apply.
- An applicant with a valid GATE or GPAT score card can also apply. Such candidates may be considered during the admission process only as per the guidelines by the AP Govt.
