Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is widely structured covering a variety of areas during the 2 years of the course. It starts with an introduction and laying a foundation to the basic concepts of journalism. Then we moved on to Reporting, editing, history of the press, media language, PR, Media Laws, Advertising, . We have practicals every semester. Exams are held every semester. There are internal assessments and project reports as well.

Campus Life

Our college conducts many Intervarsity competitions in Drama, Dance, Painting, and Sculpture. University also gives NET Coaching. There's a spoken English class for students too. There are many cultural activities held at the campus its really fun.

There are many events celebrated in the college in various fields like education, entertainment, music and dance. Students show great interest in the participation. The college provides a great scope for the students to learn by conducting the events. There was this RUSA project launch in Tagore Auditorium in Osmania University. There was a musical concert in which great singers came across the students. There was a SAHAJA Yoga program back then in Tagore Auditorium. Many events are organized every year like this.

Remarks

The positive side of the college is if we are able to cope up with the teaching faculty we can learn a lot from them. They teach us with lot of patience. The university exposure is very nice and inspiring. The alumni is very helpful also. We can get into good organizations in future if we work hard. The negative side of the college is the student union organizations create a disturbing environment during classes and also sometimes do mass bunks.
