The college had a peaceful atmosphere and had a very good library. It is one of the best aided college in calicut. Situated near the Irivazhinjipuzha and institutions like National Institute of technology Calicut, KMCT medical college etc.

Best course for the media related jobs. Contains double majors Mass communication and Journalism. 4 semester course in 2 year span of time. Exam is conducted under the calicut university calendars. A project must be done in the 4th semester.

Job opportunities are plenty for the MA Journalism and Mass Communication students. There aren't any internship provided by college itself but the faculties are helpful for finding one for the students.

Union Inauguration, Various Association Inaugurations, National level management meets, Arts day, sports day, college day, Various club inaugurations, Inter department football championships, Interdependent batminton championship etc.

MA Journalism and Mass Communication is an aided course. Therefore fee structure is 1500 per annual. E-Grantz is provided for minority students and backward communities. There are also various scholarships provided for the students.

Post metric scholarship for minorities, Central sector scholarship, CH Muhammad koya memorial girls scholarship, E- Grantz, Suvarna joobili scholarship for BPL students, State metric scholarship. And also various other schemes.

The college football team is currently one of the best in calicut university. The participantions of various sports items like wrestling, Cricket, Handball, boxing, Kabadi etc are also high standard. The college had a good reputation in B zone arts fest participantion.

Hostel facilities are available for women. With high infrastructure and good mess foods. The hostel fee comes under 4000 rupees per month. There aren't any hostel facilities for men currently but expected in the future.

The alumni network are very good in both kerala and foreign countries like UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia etc. They are very helpful for providing necessary funds for the college when needed. The alumni association meets regularly for the welfare of the college.

Through Calicut University MA Journalism and Mass Communication entrance exam. The university later publish a rank list based on the entrance results. Then the college conduct admission procedure based on this list.

A good college with A grade by NAAC accreditation. Situated in the beautiful area of Mukkam, Calicut which is considered as the main educational hub of the district. The college provides a good library a multi level gym and various other facilities.
