MBA scholarships can provide much-needed financial assistance to students pursuing their MBA degree. The amount of MBA scholarship in Telangana depends on the student's eligibility and the college they are attending. The Telangana government offers scholarships for MBA students, like the Telangana Post Matric Scholarship, which covers tuition fees, examination fees, and other related expenses. The scholarships are provided through the TS ePASS portal.

TS SC and ST students are eligible for full tuition fee reimbursement regardless of the college of study. These scholarships are awarded based on academic merit, extracurricular activities, and also depending on financial need. To apply for a scholarship, students must submit an application form along with transcripts to avail MBA scholarship in Telangana.

  • Students who fall under the SC/ST/BC/EBC/Disabled welfare categories are eligible for the scholarship.

  • They must have earned a foundation degree with a grade point average of at least 60% in fields such engineering, management, humanities, social sciences, agriculture sciences, medicine, and nursing.
  • As of July 1 of the application year, the student's age should not have exceeded 30.
  • The pupil must be the family's only kid.

Telangana National Talent Search Examination
  • Students in class 10 who attend an approved school in Telangana are eligible to take the exam.

Telangana National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme (NMMSS)
  • Students must successfully advance from class 9 on the first try with at least 55% of the required marks, or an equal grade (a 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST students).
  • For the scholarship to continue in class 11, students must successfully complete class 10 with at least 60% or an equal grade (a 5% relaxation is possible for SC/ST students).
  • Students must successfully complete class promotion from grade 11 in their first attempt with at least 55% of the required marks, or an equal grade (a 5% relaxation is provided for SC/ST students).

Chief Minister’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme for Minorities
  • On their first attempt, pupils must pass class 9 with at least 55% of the necessary marks, or an equivalent grade (a 5% exemption is allowed for SC/ST students).
  • Students must successfully complete class 10 with a grade of at least 60% or an equivalent (a 5% relaxation is available for SC/ST students) in order for the scholarship to continue in class 11.
  • Class promotion from grade 11 must be completed successfully on the first try with at least 55% of the necessary marks, or an equal grade (a 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST students).

  • The scholarship is open for students who have passed class 10.

  • Visit the TS ePASS portal.
  • Click on the desired scholarship.
  • The 'Apply for Scholarship' tab should be clicked by visitors to the homepage.
  • The next step for applicants is to register on the website.
  • They will receive an activation link on their registered email address after registering.
  • To finish the registration procedure, candidates must click the activation link.
  • The students must next enter their login information.
  • The application form is now available to them.
  • The required documents should be uploaded on the application form as well.
  • The candidates are now invited to set up a new password for tracking and future use.
  • To finish the application procedure, they should click the "Submit" button.
  • Candidates should print off a copy of the confirmation page after completing their application so they have it for future use.

Ques. Who Qualifies for the Reimbursement of SC & ST Tuition Fees?

Ans. Welfare for SC & ST SC & ST students are qualified for tuition fee reimbursement if their yearly family income is Rs. 2 lakh or less, and they must also have a 75% attendance rate at the end of each quarter.

Ques. Who Qualifies for Tuition Fee Reimbursement for BC & EBC?

Ans. Students who meet the criteria for BC & EBC and Minority Welfare students' eligibility for tuition fee reimbursement include those whose family income falls within the range of Rs. One Lakh Fifty Thousand or below, Rs. Two Lakhs or below, and students whose attendance at the end of each quarter is at least 75%.

Ans. Students who qualify may submit their applications online at telanganaepass.cgg.gov.in by the deadline with the necessary documentation.

Ans. Tuition fee reimbursement to the college (RTF) and maintenance fee to the student (MTF) are the two components of a post-secondary scholarship. 

Ques. Is Student eligible for a PMS scholarship from the prior year?

Ans. No, you can only apply for the current year's PMS scholarship. Under no circumstances may the prior year's scholarships be claimed.

Ques. Are students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds (EBC) eligible for MTF?

Ans. Economically disadvantaged students are not always eligible for MTF for their courses. Additionally, they are not qualified to take RTF for Intermediate Courses.

Ques. Is registration for the scholarship open all year long?

Ans. The government only allows applicants to register for scholarships during a certain window of time. Only during this time period are applications for registration required from all students and colleges. 

Ques. Will I be qualified for a scholarship for a course inside the state if my parents are from AP but I have studied outside the state?

Ans. According to the PMS program, you are qualified for a scholarship. Since you are unable to submit the data immediately, you must meet with the relevant district welfare official to discuss your issue.

Ques. How can I enter my application after studying for my XII class in CBSE?

Ans. The scholarship database is connected to the SSC database from 2005 to the present. Beginning January 2005, the CBSE database is also connected. If you run into trouble applying for a scholarship, get in touch with the relevant district welfare officer right away for help.

Ques. Should I go to IBS Hyderabad (ICFAI) for an MBA? Why or why not?

Ans. IBS Hyderabad isn’t a good option for MBA. The placement record of the institute isn’t good. You won’t get a good ROI. The course fee for an MBA at IBS Hyderabad is INR 16.02 lakhs. While the average CTC offered to the students according to IBS Hyderabad placement highlights for 2022 is INR 7.97 LPA.  The student intake is huge. Batch strength for MBA is 1300. Ques. I joined SBI as a PO in 2015 and currently a scale 2 officer. Is it wise to leave SBI for an MBA from NMIMS Mumbai, SIBM Pune or MDI Gurgaon? Also, I do not want to continue in SBI.

Ans. Since you do not want to continue with SBI due to whatever reasons, so it would be a better option to follow what you want to and don’t continue in your job. Now, you have three options to choose what you want to do:- You can resign your current job and search for a job in a private bank. This option might not be a feasible one as the entry-level pay at SBI is much more lucrative than other banks. Your experience might not be valued in case you do not have much of it. You can go for an MBA from NMIMS Mumbai, SIBM Pune, or MDI Gurgaon. In this case, your experience will be valued during the placement process and you will be an eligible contender for middle management jobs in private banks and you may also explore new fields like corporate finance or trade finance. The other option is to wait for two more years of experience and pursue a one-year MBA provided you are ready to continue in SBI for two more years. Furthermore, there are other factors as well like GMAT score you get after two years.Read more

Ans. Yes, NMIMS is considered to be the MBA college in Mumbai city and its MBA program is highly regarded among aspirants. Here are a few pros and cons of the institute that might help you  Pros The college is well-known for its state-of-the-art infrastructure. The classrooms have all modern facilities and the library too is well-stocked. Its location gives it leverage in establishing healthy industrial relations. The parity of the faculty cannot be doubted as they deliver excellent lectures. The academics are much more than just bookish language as students are made to solve Case-based studies. The food served in the canteen is quite good. Students get the chance to participate in lots of competitions and earn well, or get PPI. Cons : NMIMS fees are exorbitantly high. The first-year fee is INR 11.95 Lakhs. You also need to consider the expenses of living in Mumbai. Hostel faculties for only limited students  A few faculties have no interest in teaching.  The placement stats are inflated and thus misleading.  The MBA batch of NMIMS has a huge batch of around 600 students affecting the quality of education. There is a huge gap between the administration and the students.  Easy entrance exam affects the quality of the crowd. So, NMIMS was once a great B School but the increasing batch size has affected its reputation largely. Ans. Since you already have a work experience of 2 years you should go for an executive program from a reputed institute rather than doing any regular program. You should never hold your career because of continuing with a regular MBA program rather than you should choose an executive program. For the executive program, you can choose a 1-year global MBA degree in collaboration with 3 B schools. They are Cardiff School of Management, UK, IIM-Indore, and Universal Business School, Mumbai. In this program, you will be able to learn from these big institutions, especially IIM’s. You will also be getting good global exposure. The curriculum of the college will be the British curriculum and all these programs will develop your skills and will help you in your career development.
