MBA Event Management syllabus covers subjects related to Principles of Event Management, Event Planning, Event Marketing Campaigns and Event Risk Management. However, apart from this, students will have to study various MBA core subjects like Marketing Management, Organizational Behaviour, Financial Accounting and other relevant subjects in the entirety of the 2 years duration of the course. Students go through various event workshops, practicals, projects, industry-facilitated guest lectures and communication & grooming sessions as a major part of the course curriculum.
Students are required to take up at least one to two internships while pursuing an MBA Event Management, as it gives a first-hand experience apart from the theoretical approach of study. However, the internships are usually performed under top event management companies where individuals are taught to arrange, manage and promote various types of events like corporate and social.

MBA Event Management Assessment Process
Throughout the duration of the course, candidates are required to submit project reports on the given subjects by the universities, as well as on the internships done. Further, the project reports carries a weightage of 50% and the rest is given on the viva- voce.
For each written paper carrying 100 marks, a weightage of 80% will be given on theoretical performances and 20 marks will be for internal assessment for the sessional work.
