Faculty

In my department, we had around 80 students (juniors and seniors) and we had 4 staff. The staff were friendly and approachable but they lacked proper training and knowledge. They didnt care mucj about the syllabus and rushed in only when exams came. Many students cleared the exam and only very few failed. Also there is too much politics in my department. When a student does something, the staff hold a grudge which i find to be very immature and needs to be changed. I didnt like the deboraj raj, hod of the communication department. She was always dominating and held grudges against some students which i find to be very unprofessional and silly. Also she was a little narrow minded and judgemental. And some other staff agree with her just so they can survive being there. We just had three to four subjects per semester and maybe 2 practicals ( or one) i like that they give importance to the practicals as much as the theoretical subjects. During my photography practical exam. I got the basics of photography and explored out some places because my professor forces us to.

Campus Life

The college is filled with fun. Starting from the environment. The second thing i noticed, something good about the college is the people in it. Everyone comes from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Which allowed me to express myself freely. They celebrated every festival. There are yearly creative competitions for students, and I always participate in the creative writing competitions just to sit and be in a quiet calming place and write my mind.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum and syllabus is updated but so often lectures don't take place so only a portion of the syllabus is completed but we are still expected to be ready for anything not taught during exams. We have two written internal tests and one assignment, the best two and averaged for internals and the external exams are corrected by our subject teacher itself.
