Auxiliary Nursing Midwifery or ANM is a diploma course available for Nursing and allied services like midwifery and others. It is a 2 year program which has 6 months of experience after the course. In the US, Canada and some other countries this diploma is usually awarded by hospital-based nursing schools. Students awarded a Diploma in Nursing are qualified to take the NCLEX-RN exam and apply for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
