Boys Hostel infrastructure is very old and not maintained at all.

Hostel need to get renovated. It's the same since last 40-50 years at least. Not maintained at all. One can find leakage during rains and at places the roof is falling. Girls hostel has recently been constructed and it's almost like a 4 star hotel but boys hostel is very poorly managed and infrastructure is worst here. Quality of meal is also not great in college mess. Students have found insects in food. As there is less restuarants and mess around the college, the college mess people misuse this opportunity to provide cheapest quality food at high price

Experiencing ILS Law College before admission.

Conditions of Boy's hostel is not too good. On the other hand, conditions of Girl's hostel is good but thier charges is very high.

Boy's Hostel conditions is not too good, rooms are very small, with very less ratio of Students and Washroom. Room includes a 2 beds, 2 chairs and 2 tables, nothing more. For meal, one has to opt for mess of canteen, Hostel do not provide it. Boy's hostel is pretty affordable and the process for registration starts once the new admission process ends.

Don't jump just by a name

They take 56 thousands for 1 educational year or for 2 semesters and for one semester it is 28 thousands. Registration of hostel is very easy then you won't get any mess facility provided by the hostel

ILS Law College: One of the best in the State.

ILS Hostel is not that great as far as Boys' Hostel is concerned. The facilities are sub-par considering they are charging 55000 a year.

ILS provides Hostel Facility for both Boys and Girls. Boys' hostel charges 55000 per annum where food is not included. Hostel is affordable considering the high rate of rents in the locality. However the mess in the campus has seen better days. There are good mess around the college which are better than the college mess.

ILS LAW COLLEGE - Worth the hype?

The condition of hostels in ILS is very poor , there are very small rooms which are actually for single occupancy but they are used for double occupancy The registration for hostels is also very complicated, it does not have any online registration system you have to physically go and register for the hostels , the boys hostel charge 55000 per year without food ILS has its own mess and canteen but the food of the mess is very poor

All About ILS Law College, Pune

The hostel facility is not worth the huge amount is taken. In fact, the amount of hostel fees is greater than the admission fees of the college. There are 3 wings A, B, C of the hostel with single and double occupancy. For single occupancy, the fee is Rs. 64,000 and for single occupancy, it is Rs. 54,0000. The rent for the room is approx 4,416 per month. A maximum number of students allowed in one room is 2 and minimum 1. No girl students are permitted to enter into boys hostel. Never. Not your female relatives too. The hostel has an attached mess with good food quality as compared to other places as I have experienced. Mess fees are separate for you can buy coupons or a monthly card for Rs. 2000 and 2800 respectively and then it needs to be renewed. The registration process for a hostel is online/offline both for 1st-year students and is easy. If you live as a PG, the locality is good with 15 min walking distance to the college and about 3000 per head per month rent. (Electric bill excluded).

College hostel is okay at max, infrastructure wise. The hostel mess is just yuck. But the main issue with the hostel is the disparity between hostel 'in time' for girls and boys. For girls it is 8. 30 which is outrageous in itself. In addition, the boys hostel so called on paper in time is 10. 30 although ofc even that is not followed. So basically girls are being caged in name of their 'safety' lol.

Truth about ILS, PUNE

Yes I stayed for 4 years in college hostel which was a mess. The hostel facilities are too expensive only because of the fact that they are within the campus of the college. The fees charged were more than 2lakhs annually for a twin sharing room with food for girls. This was too expensive when compared to outside accommodation. Outside the pgs and flats were comparitivly reasonable to stay.

College with good values

For the first 2 years I did as I belonged to another state and didn't know much about the city. From 3rd year onwards i opted for a flat on sharing basis. The college hostel has twin and triple sharing rooms. The food is better than average. You get breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. There is no dinner on sundays. The in time is 8:30 pm for weekdays and 9:30 for sundays. There is also a common TV room, a study room with 3 computers, but it's only in the girls hostel. For PG the range is starting from 3000 and goes upto 10,000 a month depending on location, how near or far away from college. There are a lot of PG/hostels outside college which are affordable and good/safe.
