Dogra Law College - Nice and Quality Education

Likes

This college has a very neat and clean ambience. Drinking water is also available.
The infrastructure is good and transportation facilities are also available for the students.
Our course curriculum is best suited to meet the needs of current legal system.

Dislikes

The placement facilities are not available.
The washrooms of the college could be made better.
There should be better emphasis on extra curricular and co curricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is great in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness because it not only includes theoretical knowledge but practical experience as well like the court visit, jail visit etc. Thus, it prepares us to real world application and higher studies as well. The exans are conducted twice a year and are moderately difficult.

Dogra law college offers a both 5 years or 3 years law courses. I choose ballb because it is very benificial for me because when i choose ballb course it completes my graduation and law degree in five years as it take 7 years.

My college campus

Likes

Teaching method is very good. They have been the great mentors for all the students till now.
Moot courts are also available in our college for the practical knowledge of the laws so that the student can practice practically as well.
The seniors there are also very supportive. They are also the great guiders and mentors for all.

Dislikes

The main thing i didn’t like is the location of the college.
It should b in some other well area like in highways.
No more dislikes.All over the college is great.

I am currently pursuing in ba-llb a professional course.So teachers and the staff members are really very supportive.Their teaching skills are great.Moot courts are available in the college for a law student to practice practically as well.

Likes

There are very good staff members . They do their all efforts and they complete our syllabus on time
They have good system for discipline and have full healthy condition
My college has celebrate many events on every occasion and every festival with great enthusiasm

Dislikes

Their is no scope of placement and jobs for the students
They never have a good and big campus and not to much areas and field of support
They never organised any campaign or other out door tour for students

They have a good course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensive. But there are some drawback also they never provided placement and internship opportunity for students . They have to provide students more opportunities and internship and also adopted new technology method of studies

Reality to dogra college

Likes

One things is that the interactions between the faculity and the student is excellent.
Proper facilities for students is there, as no one could suffer for such things
Many of the activities are been performed like cultural prgrames and all

Dislikes

I didn't like the canteen as its too costly and need more improvement in food , should arrange more options
College doesn't organises camps and many more tour for students
Tymings are very annoying as one class is of 50 mins thats too boring as no one can give or take lecture for 50 mins continuously

I choose this college over other , the main reason is study as teaching is good and no students except those 10 - 20 irregular ones gets fail in examinations, as i have to travel for 1: 30 hr to go to college but still for the study purpose i choose it . Teaching methods are normal should be improved . Exams are set bt the university and also held in universities soo have difficulty level to normal sometimes n sometimes get over

Discovering my college

Likes

I think its nothing to like here , instead of there flowers and plants
Not all but some teachers who are serious with us regarding our future but not all

Canteen food they cost us too much as similar to outside food
Washroom are so nasty and messed . Boys washroom ki bdbuu toh sclass tk aate hai

Instead of wasting in time in college i prefer to save my time in books at home and mantined my attandence as well. Bcz staff are just newly passout and they dont have enough experince they just takes there experince in our college by teaching us. This college pay there staff so less amout bcz of this many teacher left this college in btw our semister.

One of the good colleges in Jammu and Kashmir for Law

Placement Experience:

As such they are no big companies that offer placements in the college. But few advocates Come to college and of the students to work under them as an intern Which really helps them to provide guidance which is required to build up their future. It has the facility of moot court which really helps students to grind themself and become a better version of themselves.

Remarks:

The college provides scholarships for students coming from low-income families. They need to provide government proofs to avial the same. The seniors are very helpful. The seniors in my department were the best. They help you adjust to a new environment and you may go and ask them for any doubt and suggestions.
