Dogra Law College - Nice and Quality Education

The course curriculum is great in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness because it not only includes theoretical knowledge but practical experience as well like the court visit, jail visit etc. Thus, it prepares us to real world application and higher studies as well. The exans are conducted twice a year and are moderately difficult.

In our college the year wise fees is 45000 rupees. It is inclusive of other charges like caution fees, development fees, lab fees and other charges. Other batchmates also pay the same amount of fees. As such, the college does not provide any scholarships.

The college hosts an annual fest each year in the month of December typically. One of the best features of the college is the well stocked library consisting of all legal books and journals. The college conducts seminars and debates. The college canteen is very nice and has serves delicious food. Vmedulife is the online portal for students and has various interesting features.

I chose this college because of its highly qualified faculty, great infrastructure, transportation facilities and so on. Besides, this college has a strong alumna. J did not apply to any other college apart from this. One can seek admission in our college by qualifying an entrance test conducted by Jammu University. Eligibility is 10+2. The admission process is simple and takes a few hours.

The faculty to student ratio is around 1:40 which is a great feature of this college. The faculty maintains a very cordial relationship with the student community and they try to resolve every matter to the best of their abilities. Arushi Mam is my favorite faculty because she is is cordial and a person of great intellect. I don't dislike any of the faculty. Their are 2 exams in a year and the difficulty level is moderate.

There aren't any great spots for the students to hangout because the college campus is compact. There is however a cafeteria which serves nice food. Outside the campus, there are no places to hang out. Therefore, the night life isn't great.
