I chose this course as I loved the subject and was curious enough to interpret in the same as well. This course is a vast area considering different courses as well and provides a good outlook of human behaviour as well as the society.
Some of our faculties are good at teaching but in every year they play with students. They always try to break bonding of students. And at last they successfully finished with making two or three teams as the number of students are less as the seats are less than other departments. And in the team making hod's wife takes a big part as some of student go to her for private practice. We think the hod does some mischief in our exam result by seeing past two years number and some of our senior also told about it.
During admission, if you are not admitted via the merit list you can get admitted by bribing the student union and they will work it out for you as stated above. In total for thouree years I paid almost 40, 000 rupees which is quite expensive in comparison to all government aided colleges of similar grade to our college. The college did break down the fees but almost in all facilities it charged more than it should. Laboratory charges were high although I don't think our laboratories actually needed that much for maintenance. Examination fees too increased exponentially with each advancing year in the course.
