Students Safety Insurance Policy of United India Insurance Company Limited provides insurance support to the policyholder in case of an accident as per the laid terms and conditions. An amount of Rs. 112/- plus the service tax @14.5% is to be paid towards the annual premium of this scheme.

What is the eligibility criterion to apply for Stipends & Free Studentship at APCC Kolkata?

To apply for Free Studentship, the student must have secured at least 50% marks (boys) and 45% marks (girls) in the last qualifying examination. At least 15% of the total students in the college are granted a concession. Scheduled Castes and Tribes Students, Other Backward Classes and Minority Communities Students are entitled to special stipends.

What is the procedure to apply for Stipends & Free Studentship at APCC Kolkata?

The applications for Free Studentship must be addressed to the Principal in the prescribed form by the eligible students within the set dates. For Special Stipends, the students must properly fill the prescribed forms and send them through the Principal to the concerned government officials authorized to release the grants.

What cultural activities are conducted byAPCC Kolkata?

An Annual Cultural Programme (Social) is organized every year with great zeal. Students actively perform and participate in the same. Every year during September, Nabin Baran is organized as a grand welcome for the Freshers of B.A. / B.Sc. course. Inside the college various competitions like quiz, creative writing, debate, extempore, singing, recitation etc. are organized. Students also participate in Youth Parliament Programmes annually for which the financial support is provided by the Government of West Bengal.

What is the Remedial Coaching plan organized byAPCC Kolkata?

Remedial Coaching has been introduced during the XIth plan period of UGC in order to improve academic skills and strengthen knowledge of backward groups of SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer) and minority communities. Extra classes shall be provided which shall be taken by the college teachers, retired teachers, research scholars etc. General students who need these classes may also be allowed.

No, I didn't opted for hostel. I lived in a Pg nearby which charges around 5000 including fooding and lodging. College hostel is decent with 3 students in each room and community bathrooms. Free WiFi, indoor sports facility available

No I am a local student. But all college is equipped with hostel facility. Hostels are well maintained. Student coming from other state lives in hostel. Charges are minimal. Around 500 rupees have to be paid in every three months.

Hostel Facilities:

Clean hostel with really good mentaincre of cleanness. And the peers, senior really good. The bad part is it offers only 20-25 seats in every session. Hostel criteria based on Boys hostel. 1. Cast (obc are more preferable, anyone can apply) 2.12th standard result 3. Distance Girls hostel. 1. The result, 2. Distance. Food and menus depend on students living here. Things I know girl hostel is secured in terms of security and boys hostel is good in terms of food.

Yes, thers is hostel facilities for those who needed. There is two seperate hostels for boys and girls inside the college premisses and the infrastructure is also good, as there is 24×7 fresh water supply and electricity support. The hostels are secured as well as there is sufficient care takers and security guards.
