IHM Pusa Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

During 3rd and 4th semesters , the candidates are eligible for campus placement in Industrial Training programme where a five months training programme is conducted by respective 5 star hotels to increase the experience of the candidate . And candidates are eligible for Management Training programmes only after or during 6th semester. Taj , Oberoi , Accord, Raddison etc. The percentage selection for management training programmes is 15-20 % students in Third year. My plans would be to build my career , gain experience and keep improving my career resume in order to become a successful chef with global restaurants.

The students will be eligible to sit in the placement from the 3rd year i.e. 5th semester. Numerous of companies even the most famous companies visited to give placements. Some of them are ITC, HAAYAT, MARRIOTT, IHCL, IHG, ACCOR etc. Average package for the MT program would be 6 lakhs and for the OT program in 4 lakhs per annum. I will definitely go for the college placement but some students go for the higher studies.

The Placement of IHM Pusa is very excellent and have a remarkable placement history. The Placement percentage is always above 97-98%. The End Semester student, which means the students from 3rd Year seat for the placement. The companies come to our college are mainly the most famous 5 star and 5 star deluxe company such as Taj Hotels, JW MARRIOT, ITC Group, Accor,The Oberoi, Hyatt, etc ; as well as retail company like Reliance, Eazy Dinner, and more. My Plan of getting the MT from the college in a well known company is my Target.

As for the placement the average salary is 8L/yr and highest is 18l/yr in India and if you placed by a foreign company then the salary can get much higher than the salary of engineers these days. Companies like TAJ , LALIT, OBEROI, MARRIOT visited the institute for placements

I had the passion of cooking from starting and i was looking to get into hotel management line from the starting and i got in it and it was my best decision , the college prepares you for real world applications very well

From 3rd semester students get eligible for campus placement. Many companies visit frequently to the campus for selection they include marriot , hyatt, taj, itc, oberoys etc.. Highest package may vary but basically it is 2LPA. The percentage of students gutting placement is close to 100 percent. To become a chef .

In the fifth semester the placement starts, they have a very high placement rate as all the companies comes to the college in the start considering the college is the best. Different companies like Marriott, Hyatt, Oberoi, Taj, Hilton, Lemon Tree, Eazydiner, Starbucks, Pret, etc comes for the placements. Highest package was for Growisto around 9.5LPA They have 100% placements. I am currently working as a Assistant sales manager in Eazydiner.

I got inspired with the curriculum of the cource it looks attractive to mr and it preapers me for real world i suggest improvemnt in practical class more then theory the frequance and timing of exams should be diffrent for all standards and conduct exams so we can give our best

IHM PUSA is the the number 1 Hospitality College in India. So all the major recruiters of Hospitality industry come for placement including hotel, retail, airlines, startups, etc . Average package is around 3.25 Lakhs. The major recruiters are Taj, Oberoi, Hyatt, ABFRL, ITC, etc.It has 100% placement record every year.

There are many departments under hospitality and i found all good but what fascinated me the most is front office department. It has influenced me to make the decision to chose this course. This curriculum actually helps to gain me the practical knowledge of how to communicate with different people and in different and difficult situations. It help me trim my personality and made me a better person as an whole. It helped me grow in many ways, made me feel confident and better about myself. Perhaps there is nothing i feel like that needs any improvement in the course curriculum however the teachers can provide more practical knowledge rather than theory part as practical knowledge made a student involve and understand more. The timings of exams were 3 hours and i feel like its a good time for that and the level of difficult for me sometime ranges between moderate to difficult and sometimes easy to moderate but mostly moderate.
