- Firstly teaching quality is good of our faculty ndthe faculty members at our hotel management program are quite impressive nd our faculty members have a lot of experience in the hospitality industry.
- There is scholarship schemes for the national and state wise national scholarships are for the sc/st students and pwd students.
- Collage have very modern equipments and practical classes are best for learning new recipes.
Dislikes
- The hostel facility are not too great as you have to live with two other students in the same room.
- Very hard to get the ihm pusa campus hostel is not too big .
- The hostel is one of the worst places you'll ever go to

- The college is good in placement as well as providing hostel facilities
- As it is India's number 1 hotel management college there is no any issue in accomodation faculty and other emminities
- The fee structure is also not so drastic in manner as it is government college it is affordable
Dislikes
- The hostel and mess facilities can be improved
- The furnitures like chairs, tables and classes infrastructure can also be improved
- As it is India's number 1 hotel management college there should be air conditioning classrooms
Placement Experience:
The students will be eligible to sit in the placement from the 3rd year i.e. 5th semester. Numerous of companies even the most famous companies visited to give placements. Some of them are ITC, HAAYAT, MARRIOTT, IHCL, IHG, ACCOR etc. Average package for the MT program would be 6 lakhs and for the OT program in 4 lakhs per annum. I will definitely go for the college placement but some students go for the higher studies.

- I do not think there is anything which i think is needed to be improved
- The college teachers are helpful and interactive
- The teaching method is top notch and best in both theory and practical
Course Curriculum Overview:
I had the passion of cooking from starting and i was looking to get into hotel management line from the starting and i got in it and it was my best decision , the college prepares you for real world applications very well

- Faculty is one of the best with proper guidance and training they hold us through the tough phases.
- Infrastructure is top level can't compare just the red majestic buildings.
- All the events and programs that are held in the campus makes us learn a sense of responsibility and creativity.
Dislikes
- The wheather can be harsh sometimes during the rainy season.
- The rules are a bit strict but still they are for our betterment.
- Makes you feel less like home more like you are staying in a 5 star restraunt or hotel everyday a new dish is made in the mess i cant find simple food .
Placement Experience:
From 3rd semester students get eligible for campus placement.
Many companies visit frequently to the campus for selection they include marriot , hyatt, taj, itc, oberoys etc..
Highest package may vary but basically it is 2LPA.
The percentage of students gutting placement is close to 100 percent.
To become a chef .

- One of the best university in India to do Hotel management.
- They focus on co-curricular activities. Different clubs are there so that you don't burn out.
- Faculty was experienced and very helpful.
Dislikes
- Campus is not that exciting. Definately not what you expect from your dream college.
- A little too strict of rules and dress code.
- No hostel for boys post 1st year. Need to find accommodation outside college after 1st year.
Placement Experience:
In the fifth semester the placement starts, they have a very high placement rate as all the companies comes to the college in the start considering the college is the best.
Different companies like Marriott, Hyatt, Oberoi, Taj, Hilton, Lemon Tree, Eazydiner, Starbucks, Pret, etc comes for the placements.
Highest package was for Growisto around 9.5LPA
They have 100% placements.
I am currently working as a Assistant sales manager in Eazydiner.

Review the hostels at IHM PUSA, New Delhi and can we bring friends (both genders) to our hostel rooms in our free time?

Some of my friends attended IHM Pusa. Here are their insides regarding the hostel facilities. The hostel rooms have typical amenities like any other Govt. hostel. The rooms have shared accommodation. Each room has 3 study tables, 3 almirahs, 3 single beds, and one fan. The hostels have a lounge area too. For the girls' hostel, the lounge area has a tv. The boys’ hostel has additional gym equipment.
