Nice college

Likes

The teaching factually are really good and knowledgeable which really important for students to guide them to pursue in their way. They are very humble and kindfull.
The best quality of our college is patients flow, we get to see and do so many cases in clinical departments like oral surgery, conservative and endodontics, periodontics etc.In oral madicine dept, we get to see so many special cases like carcinoma.
We get lot of support from the college to do something new, they send us for so many conferences and also gives importance for sports and culturals

Dislikes

The college canteen is too small. It has to be renovated
In library some books are not available or might be one book is present for a particular subject it has to be more organised
In conservative and endodontics department, they should allow us to do more root canal treatments..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chooses this course...i didn't get MBBS but I wanted to become doctor. The curriculum really trains us how to manage patients when we are alone More of practical or clinical aspects gas to be there in the curriculum

Likes

Patients inflow is huge which is important in dentistry
Faculties are well experienced well qualified and friendly
Library Reading room Computer section is there

Dislikes

College Infrastructure is limited with 3 blocks
Fests need to organised by college like in other colleges
Hostels need to be renovated as it is old

RGUHS University based curriculum which is thought in college They will also conduct certificate programs on forensic odontology bls program implants and many more Curriculum is little outdated as university needs to improve this college is helpless

One among the best dental college of india
Best faculty, with good library facilty
Best teaching , personal care is given to each and every student

Dislikes

Small campus , uneven weather of davangere
No much fests or other programs , hardly 2 - 3 cultural fests
Staffs are strict for submissions , and attendance

We are allowed to attend many conferences held all out through India which are very helpfull to us where we can learn many more things , more over our college has all the facilites which makes ones learning easy and interesting

There is nothing like placements in our course as it is a medical profession there are no placements and all. Many plan to study Masters after completing their bachelor's in dentistry.

Remarks:

Our college get a lot of patients from the rural areas around. Therefore we get exposed patients with different kinds of pathological conditions. Which increases our knowledge and helps us to learn better and to treat the patients better.

There are uncountable good points about my college. Its one of the best dental college of India. The college gives best knowledge and experience to students studying here. Both undergraduate as well as post graduate course is good here.
