MICA Course Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Application Process, Selection Criteria

MICA MBA Admission 2026

Candidates who hold a bachelor's degree in any discipline can apply for admission to the PGDM (MBA) and the PGDM-C (MBA-C) program at MICA Ahmedabad. The candidates are first shortlisted for the GE & PI round on the basis of their performance in the CAT/XAT/GMAT and their performance in MICAT. A composite score is calculated for the preparation of the GE & PI list, and the weightage of CAT/XAT/GMAT is 35% and MICAT is 25%.

The following steps are considered while preparing the final merit list.

• Step 1: The Section A (Psychometric test) of MICAT is the qualifier round. The candidate's performance in Section A is checked first.
• Step 2: Those who qualify for section A, their CAT/ XAT/ GMAT scores will be considered. The candidates should have cleared the minimum cutoff.
• Step 3: Those who clear the minimum cutoff of CAT/XAT/GMAT, their performance in Section C (all sub-sections) of MICAT will be assessed.
• Step 4: For those who qualify in section C, their performance in section B (Descriptive test) of MICAT is evaluated.
• Step 5: The candidates who qualify in the above steps will be called for the GE & PI round at Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Kolkata, or Mumbai.

MICA Ahmedabad MBA Admission: How to Apply?

• The candidates will have to visit the official website and click on the Apply Now button, which will directly take them to the MICA Ahmedabad 2025 Application form.
• The first step for the candidates will be to register themselves and create a login ID and password.
• Then the candidates can log in to their account and start filling up the application form.
• Once they are done, they will have to pay an application fee of INR 2,500.

MICA Ahmedabad PG Certificate in CCC Admission 2026

Candidates who hold a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible to apply for the PG Certificate in CCC (Crafting Creative Communication). The aspirants are expected to have knowledge about the world of advertising, communication, art, visual design, digital media and entertainment.

• Candidates will have to appear for MICAT, which is a computer-based test. It consists of two sections-

         Section A: Psychometric Test

         Section B: Creative Aptitude and Potential (CAP).

• Candidates shortlisted after MICAT exam will have to take the CCC Electronic Subjective Test (CEST).
• Candidates shortlisted after CEST will be called for a Personal Interview.
• The candidates will be selected on the basis of their overall performance in the online test and the personal interview.
• The final selection will be based on:

           MICAT: 25%

           CEST: 25%

           PI: 50%

• Interested candidates can fill out the application form with all the required details and pay the application fee of INR 2,500.

MICA FPM Admission 2026

The candidates who have completed Post Graduation/ Master’s Degree/ equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks in the field of management/ communication/ humanities/ or social science are eligible to apply for the FPM program at MICA Ahmedabad.

MICA Ahmedabad FPM Selection Process 2026

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the telephonic interview and then the final selection will be on the basis of their performance in the MICA’s FPM Admission Test. The FPM Admission test is a 3-day test that includes the following stages:

• Written Test: The written test will be an open book exam, which will evaluate the candidate’s theoretical understanding of communication, their ability to investigate a communication phenomenon, and their ability to interpret data and draw conclusions.
• Individual Presentation: The candidates will have to give a 15-minute presentation on the submitted research proposal.
• Personal Interview: During the personal interview, the panelists will assess the candidate’s personality and passion for research.
