My little world is my college life

Likes

College surrounding and structure and safety of students
Campus, greenary, forming process, building, education system and teachers support
Safety of girls in hostels. And emergency ambulance service

Dislikes

Food quality, unhygienic and water problems, current problem
Teaching some time uncomfortable and I complition of syallabus
Improvement of canteen, and set up a geaser in hostel

Admission:

In Karnataka there is only 2 govt Food technology colleges. 1 is Dharwad university and 2nd is Hassan college. I choose the Hassan college because, the Hassan college is under GKVK( Gandhi krushi vignana Kendra) this is top agriculture University in Karnataka. That's why I choose the Hassan college for the food technology course. And here education is also good.

Education is very good in this college with support to teachers
Teachers are very good and this college nuture
Class room are very good and clean atmosphere.

Dislikes

Regarding education all is good but we face problems regarding transportation.
Over crowded in class room because we have hundreds students in class room.
Except these two all facilities are good.

Class strength is high and ratio of boys and girls are equal 1:1
They provide placement but less comparison with other course.
These are the things they need to improve.

One thing Hassan is known for its moderate weather likewise our college is full of green, silience and pollution free because it located outside city in village known as karekere. Actually this is my second priority first i applied for engineering. We have to write kcet exams conducted by kea only merit students can get opportunity yo get seat.

I have applied ms rammaiah college due to cutoff I didn't get the seat . The admission process is through the government college in a government seat and the cutoff is around 22000 to 30000 so I appreciate it there is only one college is there for biotech

location of college which is outside the city ,which is more comfortable to study .the ratio of boys and girls are 2:3
college education helps you gain in-depth knowledge and skills
collages often have state-of art facilities, libraries, and sports encouragement

Dislikes

collage coursework can be overwhelming, leading to stress and burnout
some professors may have teaching styles that do not resonate with students
college students often have to spend long hours studying, leading to sleep deprivation

i appelied only for college of agriculture hassan and i got conformed in the 2nd round of councling through kcet.i choose this college because thid collage have the facilities and research for food technoligest. i do not applied for any other colleges. the addmission process be like- 1.the person slould be applied for the kcet. 2.you should write the exam 3.results will be announced 4.document verification will be done 5.councling through online 6.college will be selected

In our college all teachers are well experienced in their subjects , most are PhD holders. For teaching they use smart boards , and they give regular assignment.
In our college there is well facilated labs and all teachers are friendly and ask any doubt any time they ready to clarify.along with study our professor Dr. Shashi Kumar sir also teaches about inspiration stories.
In our food technology block we have well placement record, every year all students get placed to food industries and also our college provide intership program during our last semester

I prefer to choose Hassan college for btech in food technology because teaching faculties are good and well experienced and placement is better as compared to other colleges and it comes under university of agricultural sciences Bangalore. In my case I took admission through kcet . My seat is government seat

COA with lot pros than cons

The educational trips and the programmes that were conducted
The concept of counsellor and the UNIVERSITY scholarship
Study centre and the availability of sports materials

Dislikes

Hostel mess bill and the taste of some food
The registration process for each semester is a hectic one
Some courses are bit vast and even some are not related to but still we read it.

Admission:

Yes, absolutely anyone interested to join our college need to get through CET(COMMON ENTRANCE EXAM)and there is a provision for MANAGEMENT SEAT worth 6.65 lakhs per year for BSc (Hons) Agriculture and 4lakh per year for B.tech food and biotechnology. Cutoff for BSc (Hons) Agriculture is below 10000 rankings, for Btech(food technology) and Btech(biotechnology) it ranges from 15000 to 30000 ranking through CET. The ICAR(INDIAN COUNCIL OF AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH) examination is also taken through for admission process.
