Likes

The teaching method of faculties are good and they have leadership qualites
The college focuses on each Students skills and development
The college provides5-10 certification course and sessions for students to motivate them also they include industrial visit.

Dislikes

This is a girls college and the students don't get experience of co-ed college
Some teachers are not professional as they should be hould be
Attendance is mandatory atleast 75 percentage

Placement Experience:

The students of4th semester are eligible for social internship at NGO's . The students of 6th semester are eligible for corporate internsgip The students of 8th semester are eligible for summer internship that is also corporate . The students of 9th semester are eligible for placement The highest package is 12 lakh .

Life at SHIM

Likes

Its very clean and tidy with access to all basic facilities, clean washrooms and drinking water.
The environment around the college is also very peaceful, its a little far from the main city, so it is easy to concentrate.
Administration is very helpful, from admission to fee payment and all other problems, the admin helps a lot.

Dislikes

I feel more teachers are needed given the amount of students, this could ensure better engagement of all.
More companies could be included in the placement process, some from ouside the city also could be a good opportunity.
Actual corporate skills need to be taught more rather than just bookish knowledge, more of these skills would help in employmemt opportunites for students.

Placement Experience:

As soon as the 2nd year starts, students are eligible for placements and internships. The college does recommend a lot of companies where one can start their career. Around 25-30 companies visit the campus, Honda Motors, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Mahindra, to name a few. Since it is a management college, most profiles offered by companies are based on management roles, generally administration. The average package is somewhere around 300000-400000 per annum, highest would have reached approximately 600000. Mostly all of the students do get placed, but it also depends on the active participation of the student.

Faculties are very experienced and supportive. And make the students ready for industry and corporate world.
Infrastructure is very nice. Comfortable chairs are installed with a good seating arrangement.
Different kinds for Personality Development and Co- Curricular Activities are organized for the students.

Placement Experience:

The college provides students with good placements with an average placement package of 5-6 LPA. Campus placement in companies like Netlink, jaro education, One point one solution, Sutherland, etc. is provided. Also, the students are provided with 3 types of internships that are- rural internships, social internships and corporate internships. Students become eligible for internships in the 4th semester and for placement in the 7th semester.

Students are eligible after the 6th semester, many big companies visit like Sutherland, Tata, Infosys, and offers are many made, the highest average is 12- 14 LPA by Sutherland, 99% of students get placement, I plan to pursue PHD or do a corporate job in HR
