It's an online degree with almost no entry barrier, many professionals are also pursuing it making an opportunity to make good connections with industry experts.

Dislikes

Students need some live interaction with theacher

Honest Review by a student of IITM BS Degree.

Likes

Less time consuming as we don't have to travel.
Course curriculum at par with any offline degree at any IIT.
Flexibility of choosing different subjects as per our convenience.

Dislikes

No regular exposure of campus in this degree.
As the degree is online there is no physical meet with friends.
Because of large number of students less focus on quality placements. Although we can find jobs off campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is at par with any prestigious offline college degree. Everything they start from the scratch and reach up to the higher level which ends up having crystal clear knowledge and understanding to everyone irrespective of their previous stream in class 12th.

Paradox and margzih fest organised by college
Helpful nature if students and faculties
Regular live sessions to feel connection

Placement Experience:

100% of people who get cgpa above 7 are placed last year's highest package was 25lpa and the lowest was 4lpa and it's not that difficult to get cgpa 7 if you are focused and dedicated to your studies.

Talking about BS DEGREE at IIT MADRAS

Likes

The quality of curriculum and the structure of the curriculum
The students community, it has many shape brains of India, which is very good to study with such people
The opportunities you get while you're the part of the institute

Dislikes

Some times the solve with us sessions get postponed
There are so many things which are going at the same time so you sometimes miss the opportunities

Placement Experience:

In degree level at the last terms, you're eligible to sit in the placement after qualifying a pre-placement test. Then you can get your CV shortlisted for the companies. Companies like Aditya Birla Group, Tech Mahindra etc etc come. Almost everyone who passes in PPT gets at least one offer for the placement. The package totally depends on your skill set. My plan is to appear in Gate and I will also apply in foreign for higher studies.

There should be option for from Campus degree persue for particular topper students

Placement Experience:

Most probably 3rd-year students are eligible for On CAPMUS placements. A lot of companies come, all listed on the website. In 2022, a student got a 44 Lpa offer from Off Campus placement. My plan is to grab a very good placement.
