SMCW Faculty

The faculty at the college consists predominantly of MBBS and MD doctors, with some holding PhD degrees, all qualified and experienced, many having graduated from reputed institutions like AFMC, JJ Medical College, BJMC, and DY Patil College. The faculty-student ratio is favorable, with about 8-14 teachers per department for a batch of 150 students divided into groups of 50, facilitating easy interaction and individual attention. Faculty members are highly cooperative, approachable, and emphasize concept-based learning through interactive sessions, including mentor-mentee programs, PPT presentations, and self-directed learning sessions like AETCOM and SDL.

The curriculum adheres to NMC guidelines, integrating theoretical and practical learning, and includes multiple formative exams to ensure comprehension. Exams are conducted every six months, with internal, preliminary, and university examinations. The faculty provides continuous support in academics, research, and personal issues, contributing to the low failure rate.
