Government Polytechnic Nagpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college only offers diploma courses, but the college is more than 100 years old It has huge alumni support and the college has lots of MOUs with different companies. I got 4 LPA packages from this college from L&T company.

There are many companies that offered campus placement in our clg, most of the placements will be placed in different cities and states, Every year there is a campus so the physical interviews will be taken. There is the highest package is 5lakh and usually, there are 2 to 3 lakh packages offered by companies.

Placement is better than another Polytechnic college in Nagpur. In the 5th semester, students with no backlog become eligible for campus placement. In 2022 3 companies visited for Civil Engineering TATA Project, L&T and Shapoorji Pallooni. Around 30 offers were made. 20-15% of students were placed. The average package was 2.5 lakh and max.3.25 by TATA Project.

Eligibility for campus placements is last year (4th year).Companies visited to our college is bajaj auto ,atlas Copco, ultra tech cement, ACC cement,etc . About 70-85 percent students are placed in this companies. And highest package is 3 lakh.

Placement is very well relative to core branch-like mechanical electrical civil. Bajaj auto, atlas Copco, ultra tech cement, acc cement, tata project, jsw steels, etc visit here highest placement is 4 lakh annum for mechanical engineering students by ultra tech cement.

After polytechnic, you will get a job by campus placement. Many reputed companies come to college. If you are not selected you will attend other colleges' campus placement. You want to go. The higher study you can go for BE Direct second year.

Basically, the criteria for getting qualified in the campus is we have to clear the 5th sem there must be no backlog in the 5th sem. And we will get campus in 5th sem also in 6th sem also. In our time there are many campuses in our whole college but for metallurgy the biggest campus in JSW where packages about 260000 and they have placed about 30 students which is really a good thing full stop there is no minimum package or their requirement of percentage. I am now currently pursuing my engineering from Government Engineering College Gandhinagar.

Students can take part in college campus from last year ( 5th sem). A lot of companies like Ultra tech, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Infosys, Bajaj, Mahindra, and L& T, etc visit the college for campus placement. The average package offered is 3 LPA. The highest package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest package is about 2.25 LPA. Students from the computer and IT get higher packages. Packages depend on company to company. Students selected work as diploma trainees. Each company at least selects 15- 20 students. After degree, I wanted to go for higher studies

From 4th semester students are eligible for placements only a few company cities here such as infotech etc in our college we don't get high package we only get package of 3-4 lakh per annum .around 10% student get placed in placements .I will do btech after completing my diploma degree

This college was founded in 1914 which has completed 106 years in 2020. College is situated in heart of city. Easy to commute, big and spacious campus. Admission is done through cap round allotment process which is conducted by MSBTE and is seamless, after allotment, we have to come to the college for freezing and admision process which is like a 1 or 2hr work. And it helds in May-June month every year. This is upmost the best Goverment polytechnic college in Maharashtra with highly skilled teaching staff and very supportive nature of faculties. Also they conduct every curricular and non curricular activities to boost students in their academics.
