Remarks

I applied only for the Government polytechnic, Nagpur through CAP round because I was confident about it and I got allotted. I applied from the GENERAL category. The minimum criteria for admission is candidates must have SSC passed out.HSC Passed out students can also apply. College cut-off is higher since it is Government autonomous college. For Mechanical engineering, it was about 80%. There is no age limit if you fulfill the above criteria. The admission process is as usual. AICTE conducts the admission process through CAP round.First, if you are eligible you have to apply online and have to fill all your details of yours and upload the necessary documents. Then you have to fill option form to select desired colleges and courses in order of preference. After the display of the result of options form, if you are satisfied with your allotted college and course, you can report college or you can wait for the next round.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose the mechanical engineering course because I have always been interested in machines and mechanisms. There are 9-10 faculties for 70 students. The faculty is highly qualified and very professional in teaching. Most of the faculty are helpful and always ready to solve your problem. The teaching method is up to date. Despite regular teaching, they show Powerpoint presentations for difficult topics to understand clearly. You can gain high practical knowledge from them. There's a semester pattern for this course. Exam Time is nearly December for the winter session and April end for the summer session. The exam is tough to compare to other colleges. but easy enough to pass. if you attend classes regularly you will not get any difficulty.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Students can do an internship as well if they wanted to do as some companies offer an internship program. Internship duration 6-12 months. Maruti Suzuki offers an internship program. Internships help students to get actual experience of working site.

Placement Experience

4

Students can take part in college campus from last year ( 5th sem). A lot of companies like Ultra tech, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Maruti Suzuki, TCS, Infosys, Bajaj, Mahindra, and L& T, etc visit the college for campus placement. The average package offered is 3 LPA. The highest package offered is 4 LPA and the lowest package is about 2.25 LPA. Students from the computer and IT get higher packages. Packages depend on company to company. Students selected work as diploma trainees. Each company at least selects 15- 20 students. After degree, I wanted to go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is less as it is a government college. Fees are 8500? for general category and 2500? for reserved category. The cost of the study is reasonable. The fees hike policy is completely dependent on the government. college has no right to decide fess. There is a lot of scholarship available for students of every category. Scholarship for economically weaker class, scholarship for obc, sc, st,sc students is available. Minority students also get benefits of different fellowships. The job placement is better than other colleges. Companies like Ultra Tech, L&T, JSW steel, TCS, Tata Motors, Maruti Suzuki, and many more held campus placement almost every year. selection percent is also good. The placement procedure is an Aptitude test and Personal interview.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual program"Avishkar" is held every year in February. Different competitions are held in this annual event like singing, dancing, talent show, Rangoli, mehndi design, quiz show, treasure hunt, etc. Also, each department also conduct their tech fest where state-level project competition with other competition is held. The college library is filled with more than 1 lakh books. Each and every book is available for every course.you can read books in library and also issue for 15 days. Book bank is also available. Classrooms are posh and all accessories are available like lights, fan and also each classroom has 6- 8 windows, so the problem with it. Sports activities are held by Gymkhana. Cricket, football, kabaddi, basketball, volleyball , badminton etc are held in the college campus. Differnt extra curricular activities are also being conducted like project competition, poster competition, ppt presentation. Students conduct " Students co operative store where you can buy stationery with cheap price.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has to say the curriculum doesn't prepares you well enough for the real world application or for academic pursuits they doesn't provide enough. The frequency of exams is good and difficulty is moderate there should be more industrial engagement to the course more practical knowledge or industrial knowledge has to be given.

Good. A lot of alumni networks are almost as old as their alma maters. At the start, most of these associations were entirely voluntary, supported solely by individual alumni. Volunteers maintained mailing lists, collected dues to support activities, produced publications, organized events and annual meetings. The world of Alumni Relations has come a long way since its inception in the early eighteenth-century. They became a vital part of most of the educational institutions now thanks to the efforts of many outstanding professionals in Alumni Relations.

Overall AI-ARKP is an EXCELLENT institute, no doubt. There are continuous feedback programs, excellent faculty (mostly), good basic facilities, a calm surrounding environment, and more. AI-ARKP is a better choice also because here comparatively well-dressed ladies come to study. Other institutes, well their ladies apparently don't have a sense of how to dress correctly and how not to cause societal corruption. The institute is ought to take strict actions against students who cheat and fraud during exams. This will elevate the nobility status of the entire organization. Finally, many changes will probably happen in the institute and with this do, we hope that the negatives will be wiped out and the positives will be further strengthened. With the Permission of All?h, The Mighty and Majestic. Oh yeah, there's Masjid in the Degree building! & Lower your gaze where it needs to be lowered.
