GMC Ratlam Faculty

The college boasts a highly qualified and knowledgeable faculty that effectively uses a blend of traditional and modern teaching methods, including blackboard and PowerPoint presentations. Each batch consists of 180 students, with lectures delivered by a single faculty member, while tutorials and practical sessions have a more favorable faculty-to-student ratio of 1:30 to 1:60. Faculty members are accessible and supportive, facilitating student interaction and problem-solving. There are 3-5 professors per department, supplemented by senior residents and postgraduate students who aid in teaching.

The pharmacology department, led by Dr. Sanjeeb Das, is particularly noted for excellence. The coursework spans 5.5 years, with a 4.5-year study period followed by a 1-year internship, and involves four key exams annually: Sessional-1, Sessional-2, Pre-University, and University exams. Despite some criticism regarding a lack of specialist faculty and limited encouragement for extracurricular activities, the overall faculty-to-student ratio is satisfactory, contributing to a conducive learning environment.
