GMC RATLAM A MUST TAKE COLLEGE

Likes

Infrastructure is great. With hostel, hospital, College building, teacher's apartments and trauma center which is about to finish construction
Facilities- Great teachers with high experience and explain the concept very nicely
Classrooms are clean, good light, powerful ac, projector, mic. Labs are good with all required equipments. Library is great. Many sports are availability.

Dislikes

Ratlam city is not wll development limiting exposure
Attendance criteria which is 75% for theory and 80% for practical
You are not allowed to go to library in 1st year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum for mbbs for ever College in india is designed by nmc and it is called competency based medical education. It is very good curriculum designed with knowledge as top priority. Is emphasize skill based learning and not only theory. Fron 2nd year you get to work in hospital. You learn many things there and also you get the feel of becoming a doctor.

Likes

Good facility, very good clinical experience, clinical exposure is very important, wide range of clinical cases to be explored , very good faculty , minimal facilities but acceptable as it is a government college.

Dislikes

Washrooms are not good , very poor maintanence
Hygiene difficulties are seen , food is not good

Very good comprehensive curriculum . Takes care of the overall development of the student Parent teacher interactions and relationships between the students teachers are very good. Very good curriculum

Likes

Good Hygienic campus with a basketbaal court / badminton court/ football ground / kho-kho ground within campus with 24 hrs college canteen.
Natural beauty with many beautiful forestation.
Highly Qualified Proffessors with willing to teach you topics with fun which maximum colleges don't have.

Dislikes

Really seems far from main ratlam city. If you belong coming from a big city you may find difficult in ratlam city.
In 1st year you are allowed to bring your personal vehicle untill you live outside campus
Hostel rooms are small. It may be difficult to adjust with your room mate at starting.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Very relevant course no need to explain this topic since MBBS is an honoured degree. The curriculum is assigned by NMC India which is very sincerely followed by our professors. After every class, a student feed back form is filled in which you can suggest ways of teaching to your professor according to your needs.

I like the campus very much , it is a great campus because it has academic block , hospital, residency area.
Whenever I get bored or stressed I go and sit on chair under the tree.
We had to do a compulsory internship for 1 year in which we can work on building our skills.

Dislikes

The faculties do not coordinate much and don't allows us for cultural fest .
The course is very vast which is very difficult for us study.
Buildings are getting older and nobody looking for it .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is decided by NMC . I choose MBBS because it's Mt dream to treat different diseases and see peoples happy. After studying the entire course we can be a good doctor and treat any diseases. The final exam held once a year. There is no need to improve the course curriculum.

My college is best for mbbs education purpose.
It has well managed infrastructure and all facilities r there.
We have well socially interacted environment

Dislikes

There is no play ground for boys and girls.
There is no proper facility of water supply.
On other extra curricular activities to do .

Placement Experience:

There is very good placement opportunities we have in this college. They pay us a reliable salary regarding yo our durty. And I hope it would be better in future. The salary structure is very good here.

Likes

Academics is well maintained and infrastructure is also good.
Library is the place where we can study well and there were all the books available to study for pur course.
Laboratory are also well maintained and they also show us as many samples as possible for them.

Dislikes

Hospital management is good but there is very humidity due to which sometimes it feel very suffocated.
Lecture hall AC are not working properly and there is no fan.
Grounds are not properly maintained. Table tennis court is there but no bat and ball to play.

Course Curriculum Overview:

From my childhood i always dream of becoming doctor helps people to get rid of their problems. From 2 year onwards we are going to hospital see the patients , makes the diagnosis and think of the treatment. Ask the patient about them and see his/her file. Exam pattern was good as they prepare us for the University exam. So curriculum is well maintained.

My college is overall a very best college in all aspects weither academic or annual function all are well arranged in my college all faculties are very helpfull
My engament is very good with everyone one weither student or faculty
Faculties are well educated and kind and very helpful

Dislikes

Attendance are strict and we have to attain class regularly
Dean is very strick in our college so have stict rules
Hostel is not well mainted and water get depleted many times

the college is having its own hospital that is a good thing so you should deal with all types of patient with different diseases wich help in better clinical understanding
the hospital of the college have almost all type of facility with good environment which is nature friendly
the facilities provided by hospital and the college is good ye there is a new building which is assigned for the virology lab so all the laboratory needed for viral infections should be taken care of.

Dislikes

almost all thing is good but the college is a little strict about the academics and the cultural activities are less
the college is little outside from the city so it is little inconvenience

the curriculum is good but life is mbbs is hectic so we have to deal with muktiple things ata time study posting friends family vacations but yet there is enough time for the prepration and exam level is mediocre level

Infrastructure of my college is very good. It looks like a different city in Ratlam , Organ campus also have lots of playground for output outdoor games and also have gardens in which the Students can study
Faculties of our college are well educated they teach in such a manner that our concept will become more stronger and they also do SGD program through which the concept of students get stronger enough to pass exam
in my college. We also attend the hospital which is very beneficial for us as a practical knowledge in our Profession is so much required and that is why we should practise at the hospital and the patient in our hospital is so good that we can learn

Dislikes

my college infrastructure is good, but our maintenance of our classes is not so good. Our classes AC does not work sometimes due to which we have to face lots of heat and hot.
Sometime Faculty is disappoint us with their strictness or behaviours which makes us very obvious to remain quite in front of them. That is why we don’t ask any questions and doubt.
Our college should be improved by taking the patients very carefully because I have seen in hospitals of our college. That many of the doctors does not see the patient very carefully. They just over with them.

so I decided to do MBBS very early. When I when I was in eighth class I decided to do MBBS to feel proud my parents and when I pursued MBBS here I think my perspective for the MBBS course become more valuable when I joined the hospitals at which I saw many patients and taken the history of many patients and with their relatives how they feel about the disease. If the disease is worse or severe how they feel if the disease is not that severe how they feels I understand the concepts of how to treat the patient how to admire them and how to encourage them that they will be get cured. Very soon so the exam which are held to our college are sessional and pre-universities and universities. So the level of the questions in this exams are like just the universities and I like the way they ask the questions and like the way they check the copies to find the mistakes from them and improve them.

The college is situated in a vey natural environment
The hospital is situated in the campus so we don’t have to worry about transport
The campus is very large and have proper buildings and residences

Dislikes

The cultural events are limited and fear are rarely there
The sports are not maintained and need to be funded
The college is far situated from market and when we have to buy any small thing we have to go far for the market

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum includes the 4.5 year of gaining of knowledge and then 1 year of internship . Also in every year there is internal assessments which include attendance and exam marks . The attendance include 75% in theory and 80% in practical. And internal exams include at least pass in any 2 exams
