Course Curriculum Overview

5

Very relevant course no need to explain this topic since MBBS is an honoured degree. The curriculum is assigned by NMC India which is very sincerely followed by our professors. After every class, a student feed back form is filled in which you can suggest ways of teaching to your professor according to your needs.

Internships Opportunities

4

MBBS comes with 1-year internships compulsory for every MBBS student. MBBS interns are paid as per Govt. policies. Intern Doctors' posting is about 365 days no days off. In an Internship, you get on hand patient experience. which is very important for a Doctor.

Fees and Financial Aid

MBBS from a govt. medical college is very affordable compared to Private medical colleges in India. If you come from a humble family as Major students belong, Qualifying for NEET UG becomes necessary. The total fee for the 5.5-year course ( 4.5 + 1 yr paid internship ) is 5.5 lakhs ( including hostel fees ). Tuition fee 1,00,000/- per year Caution fee 14,500/- ( once ) Registration fee 1500/- on DME portal ( once ) Hostel Fee 12,000/- per yr Library / Parking fee 2,500/- per yr Depending on the Scholarship you have applied for 1. Medhavi Chhatra scholarship = 0/- FEE including hostel **** But instead of 1yr rural service bond, you have to give 2 year bond 2. Post metric Scholarship = 20% of your fees will be paid by you **** Same you will be given a 2-year rural service bond. Other than these two I don't know about SC/ST category scholarship. Medhavi Chhatra criteria is to score more than 75% on state board / 80% in your 12th board exams whereas in postmetric scholarship criteria are about family income.

Campus Life

4

Every year Fest is conducted where you can participate and show your Talent & be yourself without any fear and judgement. Even your seniors support you if you need something for your prep. There is 24 hrs library (air-conditioned) whereas a Central library with access to all the books in the medical college including generals, Wifi, and Prepladder tablets. There is a basketball court/badminton court on campus. Football ground/ kho-kho ground / Volleyball ground within the campus. There is a Table Tennis Room for students with TT tables. There are many clubs currently starting and many social clubs started to help people. Music Club / Dance clubs are soon to be starting in college.

Hostel Facilities

4

You will be provided with a Bed, a chair and common electric appliances for daily needs such as a fan and a tubelight. Electricity cost is 0/- there are common wash areas/bathrooms/ toilets which are cleaned every day. Hostels are most affordable as compared to living outside. it's very easy to apply for a hostel at the time of admission. Hostels are provided with a hostel mess which is chargeable as per your need. You can also opt. for a tiffin as per your needs. Since I have shifted outside my campus. It's about 5K/- per month for 1 bhk. whereas 8k/- for 2 bhk as per the area. Since electricity charges outside are also nill till 150 units of electricity. One can easily afford it.

Admission

College is not selected by us, we are selected by our college based on marks/ rank in the NEET UG paper. Mainly you are supposed to select to city as per your requirement. All govt medical colleges have same purpose.

Faculty

4

There is more than sufficient Faculty. Very helpful and calm faculty until you make a nuisance in class. I personally liked Resp Dr. Jagdish C. Hundekari Sir ( PHYSIOLOGY professor ) & Resp. Dr. Rajendra Singrolay Sir ANATOMY Professor because They have so much passion to teach students which is unmatched. Many first-year faculty are good and very supportive since it's gonna be hard for you to settle down from a school environment to a College environment Mainly 4 exams gonna take place each year Sessional-1, Sessional-2, Pre-University & University. Very easy to crack if study study for every paper.

Night Life

4

Usually, after college students prefer to take a nap in the hostel. and after 6 pm go for a walk on campus. There is a small lord shiva Temple on campus, there is an AMUL Centre on the entry of the college campus. I prefer to go to a turf/gym within 2 km of the college after my classes. Whereas some go to Central Library which is open till night 9 o clock.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS course curriculum is quite comprehensive and well-structured, covering all the essential aspects of medical science needed for both academic growth and clinical practice. The inclusion of subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry in the first year builds a strong foundation for understanding the human body and disease mechanisms. The curriculum is relevant as it gradually progresses from basic to clinical subjects, preparing students for real-world medical applications and patient care. Teaching methods such as interactive lectures, practical sessions, dissections, and clinical demonstrations make learning more engaging and concept-based. However, more emphasis on integrated teaching, case-based discussions, and exposure to real clinical settings from the early years would further enhance understanding and application. The frequency and timing of exams are generally well-planned, but sometimes the schedule can feel packed, leaving limited time for conceptual revision. Overall, the curriculum is highly relevant and effective, though incorporating more modern teaching methods, simulation-based learning, and periodic skill assessments could make it even better suited for today’s medical challenges.
