Symbiosis Centre for Media and Communication has 2 major fests. The first one is Satrang which is our cultural fest and the second one is Rush which is our sports fest. Other than this there are three different fests that are inter batch. They are called Maadhyam, Vaividhya and Pramana. These fests are cultural and industry related. There are loads of books and movies available for research purposes in our library. There are batch teams and then University teams for sports which are made by the captains. There are quite a few clubs that are run around the year.

There are multiple events like satrang, vaividhya, and maadhyam held in September and November. Various MUNs are held in the month of December. There is a large trove of books and academic texts available in the library. Classrooms have smart boards and projectors and are also air conditioned. There is excellent opportunity provided to play sports by the university and every year there are SIU games. There are multiple clubs ranging from gaming to journalism, debating, reading, poetry, filmmaking , music, football, volleyball, badminton basketball, rugby etc. they provide students with important enrichment and have a large positive impact on quality of life.

The Campus has many extracurricular activities like Yogshala(Yoga room), Aerobics room, and a Gymnasium for the students. The Gymnasium is very well-equipped and trainers are also provided to the students. Since students are expected to give priority to studies, these three facilities can be available from 6 am to 9 am and 3 pm to 8 pm.

SCMC takes learning beyond desks and chairs and enables the student to venture out for various field visits and educational tours. During the course of these tours, we students are encouraged to imbibe skills and build camaraderie with our batch mates through shared learning.

A state-of-the-art auditorium is provided to us with a seating capacity of 585 which hosts cultural programs and other large events. We have a well-equipped gymnasium and aerobics floor for the use of students.

There are various sports enthusiast in the campus so various sports tournaments in competitions take place. Various events are also organised in which various competitions in various fields takes place so that students can enhance their skills.

We have several seminars, workshops, sports tournaments and other activities competitions that are hosted by our college every year like In True Spirit is the sports event for three days in the field of cricket, football etc, we have other annual meets as well. No student is discriminated on any basis and there is no partiality as well. We also have various clubs like Design club, Dance Club, Sports Club, Advertising Club and so much more.

This college take extra-curricular activities beyond academics and allows students to travel out in various field trips so that they have a better picture of the classroom teachings, students are also engaged in several sports activities as well, have interesting seminars, workshops etc.

The events calendar is set by the college with the input of the students which consists of the senior batch. There are also many different facilities that the college has to offer to its students such as the shooting room, seminar hall, etc.
