Last year, the course fee for government quota seats in private colleges ranged from Rs 49,500-Rs 55,000 and for admissions through ComedK counselling, the figure was between Rs 1.2 lakh and Rs 1.7 lakh.

For B.Tech the first year's course fee is 50,000 only. This remains the same for the next 3 years. This makes it a total expenditure of 2,00,000 for the 4-year degree. This is quite feasible and also a reasonable option.
