Likes

The girls to boy ratio is stable. We pretty much have equal number of girls as boys. And there is no discrimination between genders whatsoever.
College has good professors and it is a growing institution
It is located in Center part of the city, being near to various law firms and all the courts

Dislikes

Placement not that great, there haven't been any placements yet. But however the institution is building it.
Library needs to be built well. There aren't much books and librarian is senselessly strict.
There is no canteen of our own per say. A good canteen is really appreciated.

The curriculum is standard and updated. It is highly relevant. We have all the main law subjects covered and it is spaced out smartly through the semesters.

A sneak peak into SJCL

Likes

The faculty is very highly qualified and are very patient and aporoachable
A library which has all the materials to study and is accessible at any time
The fests are very good and very fun filled

Dislikes

No much importance for sports given in the college
Canteen food is very expensive in certain cases
No much time given for studying for the internal exams

The course curriculum is good i.e it has 5 subjects in the first 2 sems which includes 2 business sub 2 accountancy sub and 1 law sub and from the 3rd year it will be all law subjects without having any bcom subjects

Best Law College Ever You will Find in Bangalore!

Likes

The faculty is awesome. Young and energetic, their classes are the best and interactive. Love how they teach and I never get bored!
Many events, programs and committee programs are organised where we can learn, enjoy and get exposure at the same time.
The classrooms are really spacious, what's best is that the windows are really large and you can get fresh air. There's two lifts provided and the infrastructure of the campus is so cool!

Dislikes

The canteen needs to improve, the food tastes crappy but it's fine if you purchase a packaged food.
There should be more cultural fests in the college. But we rarely get any.

Course Curriculum Overview:

A professional course with the best college fees is the main perks of this college. It is even a Joseph's College, which is one of the best colleges in Bangalore. We have certificate courses, outreach programmes, committee events, etc. The teaching method is interesting, teachers don't rely on textbooks but on activities, cases, programmes, etc. The cousre is not difficult or not easy, so it's moderate. If you study, you can easily ace it. We have to go for internships too.

Life at st.josephs college of law

Likes

The teachers are very approachable and can always be relied upon for any advise or help with respect to academics
Management is very flexible with respect to fee payments
Sports and culturals are encouraged in the college

Dislikes

There are no facilities for car park you only have parking for two wheelers
The campus shouldve been a bit more bigger and organised
There should be more interactive sessions

Placement Experience:

People in the 10th semester get eligible for campus place ment the highest package recieved is 6 lakhs and the avg package was about 2.5 lakhs getting placed after law is not as easy as other degrees such as engineering

Good college with required amenities and great faculty!

Likes

The faculty members are really great despite the syllabus being very basic we’ve had a lot of out of the box learning and seminars on additional subjects.
The campus is very lively and has good facilities.
The college additionally makes a lot of efforts in organising seminars for relevant topics for students. And mooring was very much encouraged.

Dislikes

The board that the college is affiliated to. KSLU syllabus is very outdated and the exam correction is very strict and not liberal.

Placement Experience:

Placements are so so as it's a new college and it's upcoming. You might have to build your network through internships you do during the course of law schooling. The placement cell is active but very limited opportunities. But I myself have gotten into SBI through the placement cell.
