National Institute of Design-Bangalore was established in 2006 as an initiative of the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion(DIPP).NID Bangalore M.Des admissions are done on the basis of an entrance examination called Design Aptitute test.
Our college is one of the best in Bangalore for students willing to pursue their Designing course. Our college have its branches in two more places allowing same curriculum. Students from abroad as well wish to pursue their career study from NID
For admission i had to follow few process of registration, uploading documents and payment of application. After successfully registering i had to appear for DAT entrance exam which is usually conducted in the month of December. DAT entrance exam is subdivided into prelims and mains and based on the marks i acquired in the exam i was offered this curriculum.
The college is a good find and the environment provided to the students is very friendly. No student will feel uncomfortable with the faculty and when it comes to following rules and regulations the college is very strict. The professional and attitude is maintained throughout
I got the admission in college through off-line mode as I live in the same city. I got to know about the college from one of my friend who is already studying in the college. I went to the college and asked for the admission form and then I was told exam date. I gave the entrance exam and I was qualified and have summitted the fees and I joined the college. The thing while getting the admissions and it was not at all Chaotic
The Bangalore campus is the R&D hub for the National Institute of Design. That’s why more emphasis is paid on developing IT-based techniques for innovative design. My overall experience with the NID is filled with only positives. I will definitely recommend the college to innovative Designers and creative thinkers, not that the institute needs any recommendation.
