Is there annual day celebrations or other talent/cultural events at VSGOI?

VSGOI has a lot of cultural events over the year. Farewell party, New year's party, and Novato Fiesta - a Fresher's Party, arevexamples. Novato Fiesta is organized to bring new talents at the college to the forefront quickly. The students come up with dance, poetry, ramp walk, and so on. Often media from newspapers/magazines is also present.

How much exposure do students get to actual corporate executives at VSGOI?

There are guest lectures, projects, research, and so on at the institute, while students are also encouraged to take part in Fairs, Expos and Seminars which exposes students to company executives on a regular basis. VSGOI functions in close proximity with MSME-DI, Govt. of India, Indian Industries Association (IIA), National Productivity Council & Provincial Industries Association (PIA).

How good are the placements to freshers at VSGOI?

The maximum placements are generally around 10 LPA and the minimum is 1.2 LPA with the average falling between 2-3 LPA. Not a lot of companies visit the campus, but among those that do, Wipro is the top recruiter. A placement cell doesn't exist at VSGOI but so far 60-80% placements have been taking place directly from the college each year.

Good college

Likes

The faculty's expertise, teaching methods, and mentorship quality are very good and its explanation method is also good.
Campus prvoide placements and internship fir students. In a year they organize job fair to all students in any course.
My engagement with campus life and the quality of social interactions are good and they organize multiple social experiment and make a chance to interact students.

Dislikes

Not dislike because they provide more facility to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

4th , 5th, and 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement and HDFC Bank, ICICI bank, Lenskart, Vaco binary semantics and other company and more than 100 plus student selected in this company and maximum package un 3 LPA. My plans after getting the degree to job in IT company.

Likes

Faculty and study methods of teachers. They trying best for study
Class room and class chairs and black board and fans
Communication of faculties is very good.

Dislikes

Windows and doors are broken and no dustbin in class rooms.
Washroom leackeg problem face in anyday.
Monkey enter the class room and disturb the students

The behaviour of faculty is awesome they are very helpful and they force you to learn
The main part of this college is experience faculty who make your every doubt clear in a quiet manner

Time management of the college has to be changed because sometimes it irritating
Canteen should be more better than other colleges because there are no taste in the food
Festival of college should ne done in the short of span time because its held only once in a year

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is very good there lots of companies who have visited in terms of students, programes and activities. The students who are in the last semester they are eligible to take their names in the placements in the college there are lots of companies who have visited such as Tata , Mahindra , Acc and so on . The percentage cretaria of the students is above 50% criteria along with good communication skills , good behavior and so on.

I also liked the exam cell which conducts different exams
The faculties approach to deal students well

Canteen is not very equipped and hygienic
Infrastructure is old and outdated which requires updation

BCA was quite fine and offers good mental approach for students and people. The faculty are very supportive they are enhanced with end to end support. The terms exams were scheduled every after 40 days and one could easily secure good marks if he she prepares well

VSCMS is known for management studies, which made me enrol in the College. It is a reputed college in Kanpur with highly qualified and experienced teachers. There is 1 teacher for every 25 students. Exams are held semester-wise at the end of each semester and there are two semesters every year.
