Placement Experience:

After 6th sem students are eligible for placements. As it is situated in a backward place companies often hesitate to come. Yet due to the academic performances Some good companies like TCS Ninja, Worley, L&T, Adani Power, and Coding Ninja come every year for Core and Non-core placements. The average package is about 4 lpa. 30-40% of students get placement. Many of the students opt for higher studies resulting in a lower percentage. The highest-ever placement is 21lpa in Microsoft

Good college.. becoming better slowly

Gym equipment is not present in our college.
Varieties of shop is not available in this locality

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose cse because of my interest in this field. The number of professors is 6-7 for each department. The teachers in our department are well qualified. Many professors are for helping students.

One of the best government Engineering college

Likes

I have got some very good Friends with awesome environment
Campus size is big enough for roaming around
Cultural and extra curricular activities is so enjoyable

Dislikes

College is so away from my home South 24 Parganas
Chanda collection in every occasion is disgusting

Placement Experience:

After 4th-semester students become eligible for campus placement, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, L&T, Adani, etc. Many offers are made per year. More than 80 percent of students got placed. I am looking for a job after the course ends.

Classrooms are pretty big and spacious it gives a private college vibe
The greenery and the view of the campus is pretty awesome and cherish able.
There's a fixed time when you can enter or exit college.

Dislikes

There is no cleanliness in those classrooms and most of the classrooms are empty
There is no alumni network in our college where we can seek help from passout seniors.
There's very much ragging going on our college

Since our college is pretty new because it was established in 2016 and for that pandemic year 2020-2022 placement companies like mass recruit is comparatively less than other government colleges in West Bengal.

The things that I liked were the place varieties situated and the teaching faculty as well as the atmosphere in library
The spacious rooms were the professor's stage and their relequip labs but it could be improved further
The playground which is big but it needs to be managed as well as the people around here

Dislikes

Generally the participation in the clubs are not quite great so it can be improved for dirt
The location of the college is quite in the interior sides of the city so it is a big problem
Availability of things which are required for necessary lifestyle is hardly available due to the position of the college in interiors

Placement Experience:

For placement students can get prepared from 2nd year after 2nd year but there are certain internships for which you can also get preparation from 1st year itself but it is advisable to do that from 2nd year there are major companies which visit the college like cognizant etcetera the highest package is obviously offered to CTC and easy but some students who take interest in This take from cold branches also get placed under the companies but of campus placement is more suitable.

Likes

I like the social groups and events in our college
The hostel facilities very good in cooch Behar Government Engineering College
The training and press meet placement cell is very active

Dislikes

A very few class is performed in our semester
The student faculty proportion is very bad
We don't get any computer based subject in our electives subject from semester

Placement Experience:

I am from a mechanical background I get a chance in a company that selects TCS, Wipro, LNT, etc.. cetera for campusing. The packages in these companies are very high. Some of my friends get their dream job from campusing.

I am a CSE student. I chose to engineer because I had a dream since childhood. The faculty of this college is very good they help us in all things along with our studies. The ratio of faculty to students will be 1:26. The faculty members of our college are very great. Some of them do engineering and Some have done a Ph.D. and Graduated. And they all teach us very well. I am in the first year now, so I did not find the exams so difficult.

seniors and juniors thing, there is nothing like this in our college every senior is friendly to us juniors
there are so many types of clubs that every one with every talent can join
all the teachers are so polite to us. They help us a lot with every need

Dislikes

no one maintains the beuty of the college
though the college is new but doesnot seems like
I don't know from when but our canten is closed for some reason

Placement Experience:

after 6th semester I guess every student becomes eligible for campus placements. as a new college not so many companies visited but there are few but not leat company visited and took students as an employee at their company. the highest package was 32 lakh it is off-campus and there is a 10lakh package on-campus highest package. 65% of students get placement. my plan is also to get a good placement.

Likes

College environment is very good.. Buildings are very good with a good architecture..
Campus life is good..our campus is raging free..We use play cricket, football, volleyball, badminton in the free times.. We have several clubs thry conduct many activities..
Faculty is very good.. With a good infrastructure and on campus placements is average

Dislikes

We dont have allotted hostel.. Hostel is only for 4th year... Where girls hostel for every year.. So this is a major problem
We don't have a canteen right now.. There was a canteen but now its closed... In the gap period if we need to eat something we have to go out from college..

Placement Experience:

On-campus placements are average. 4.6 to 6 lakh. I think last year's students can eligible for placements. Till now our college's highest package is 45+ LPA. As I will try to join as a full-stack web developer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose computer science and engineering because I have an interest in coding and software development. There is 6 faculty member and 72 students so there is a 1:12 faculty-student ratio. Most of the teachers are highly qualified. Some have done their PhD. The teaching is also very good, the teachers are very humble and friendly. There are 4 CA exams in 1 semester and they are easy to pass if study a lit bit.
